Ugh. It's freaking brutal
How are you doing now?
I have sexual intrusive thought about dogs, and once i chose to touch my dog private area for a few second to see if i will feel something. I was doing this like a compulsion to make sure 100% it s just my ocd, but then i felt guilty and panicked because my ocd start to tell me “ you liked it” . And of course i was having a groinal respons to it in those seconds, and that make me feel worse, even i know the groinal respons it’s something to do with ocd.
so are you essentially supposed to stop this mental compulsion of working things out? such as am I doing OCD recovery right? it feels so automatic...
100% An absolutely Techsavy, a lot of it will present as automatic solving until the beliefs and behaviors change over a longer period of time.
