Last time I watched this movie 11 of my family members were alive and all of them favorite season was Christmas so everytime I'll watch this movie will transport me back in time when they were alive and a time were I have no worries in life and I was happy. ❤️
I'm 63 years of age and I watch each and every Christmas shows/cartoons every year. I don't care what others think...it brings back great memories and happiness to me, which is what Christmas is partially about. Peace on earth and goodwill to all! Merry Christmas to one and all! Not worried about offending anyone...just accept a nice thought without complaining!
Oh yeah?!!! You know what I think?!….i think you’re cool. 😀 I think my sister, my brother, myself, and maybe mom, haven’t missed a year of watching since the original broadcast, with or without our kids. And as corny and funny as it sounds (laugh all you want, I know we do 😂), there’s something fun about watching it broadcast with the holiday commercials.🤶 🎅🎄
The mean man turned everything Gray and barren because he didn't want happiness in his land! But little old Ruddie, did his part! This really was my favorite Christmas movie leading up to the holiday.
you know dasher and dancer and prancer and vixen!!!!!!! commet and cupid and donner and vixen!!!!! but do you recall???? the most famous reindeer of all?!?!!!!!! Rudolph the red nosed reindeer had a very shiny nose!!!!! and if you ever saw it you would even say it glows!!!!!!! all of the other reindeer used to laugh and call him names!!!! they never let poor Rudolph join in any reindeer games!!! then one foggy Christmas eve santa 🎅 came to say!!!!! Rudolph with your nose so bright won't you guide my sleigh tonight?! then how the reindeer loved him as they shouted out with glee!!!!!! RUDOLPH THE RED NOSED REINDEER YOU'LL GO DOWN IN HISTORY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! one of my favorite Christmas songs of all time!!!!!!!
Santa was such an insufferable prick in this movie, I can't believe I didn't notice it when I was younger. I still don't know why they decided to make him such a salty asshole and completely strip him of his kindness and jolly spirit
You mean the original We’re Misfits bit dubbed over 1965 - 97 Fame & Fortune version? NBC aired the original version back in 1998 until CBS got rights back to Rudolph. However the original version still belonged to nbc, so CBS had to use the 1965 version. It was also edited for commercial breaks
@@horse6412 the last time NBC aired Rudolph was in 1971. Not 2004 I looked at an airing from 2004 and it aired the correct version with Misfits on CBS. Also the original ending and peppermint mine scene was not included in any of these broadcasts. I have the 2002 dvd and it says as seen on CBS.

Yes we teach children amoral behavior. Bullied and estranged as an outcast, but when an opportunity for exploitation arises...welcoming arms. Rudolph should say "Fuck you Santa, guide your own stupid sleigh." 🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂
I’ve watched this movie so many times… I had never noticed that Santa grabbed Rudolph’s antler when “asking” him to guild the sleigh. Like dang… That seams a bit aggressive. Do reindeer feel that? Why did Santa feel the need to grab Rudolph’s antler? To tilt his head to the side like that? Look at Rudolph’s eyes when it happens. He’s clearly very uncomfortable by it.
If this wasn't on TV at Christmas when we were children in the 60s/70s we were so disappointed. Used to get the Radio and TV Times turning the pages frantically looking to see if/when it was on...
Ah yes, the movie where an old man extorts a bright-eyed bushy tailed youth for his abnormality to further his agenda and frame himself as a hero for not cancelling Christmas which was completely his call from the start... My favorite
Sorry to ruin anyone's viewing experience, but SANTA CLAUS IS SUCH AN A-HOLE THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE MOVIE UNTIL HE NEEDS RUDOLPH TO GUIDE HIM THROUGH THE SNOWSTORM. It’s not just Santa Claus, IT’S EVERYONE EXCEPT CLARICE, SAM THE SNOWMAN, HERMES, YUKON, THE MISFIT TOY KING AND KINGDOM, AND RUDOLPH’S MOM (and maybe Mrs. Claus. Idk. She was kinda there). EVERYONE ELSE IN THE MOVIE NEEDS REEVALUATE THEIR LIFE CHOICES AND HOW THEY CAME TO BE SUCH A-HOLES. Thanks for coming to my TedTalk. Love the movie regardless 💕
I always wanted a sequel with Clarice and Rudolph and his mom....explain why Clarice and his mom were so nice when the other reindeer were so judgmental.
That's why I don't like the movie because of Santa's role in the movie it ruined it for me, Santa is supposed to be kind, jolly and loving and accepting but in the movie he was judgemental towards Rudolph and treated him poorly until he found he was useful. Had Santa been loving and accepting to Rudolph throughout the movie I would have loved it
Where can I take the dialogues in this funny and beautiful SHORT Rudolph video. I am not native, I understand most of the things, but I only need few parts. I love English.
"Quiet! Quiet! Please, everybody quiet! Quiet! I've got some bad news, folks. Christmas is going to be canceled. (everybody gasps) There's nothing I can do. This weather-- (just then, Rudolph's nose glows near Santa's face) Rudolph, Rudolph, please! Could you tone it down a bit? I mean, that nose of yours. I-- (he gazes amazed at Rudolph's nose) That nose! That beautiful, wonderful nose!" Rudolph: "Huh?" Santa: (joyfully) "Rudolph, Christmas is not off, and you're going to lead my team!" Rudolph: "I am?" Santa: "Yes, sir. (Rudolph's nose glows brighter) You and that wonderful nose of yours." Rudolph: "My nose, sir?" Santa: "Ho, ho, ho! From what I see now, that'll cut through the murkiest storm they can dish up. What I'm trying to say is... Rudolph, with your nose so bright, won't you guide my sleigh tonight?" Rudolph: "It will be an honor, sir." (Everyone cheers) Donner: (to his wife) "I knew that nose would be useful someday. I knew it all along!"

A classic cartoon that is favorite to watch over and over.
not a cartoon it is stop motion, aka they clay models and take a picture of each movement, very time consuming though

@Zephyr Howard it's true
