'One Main Character: The Gabby and Bill Story', is a documentary which apparently is going to focus on the Krusen family legacy, but then, like a Florida storm, Margo comes into the picture to completely re write Bill's story on how his ideal life should be.
Margo and Bill Krusen are a couple from Tampa, Florida, who met in the 1940's while working as captain and stewardess for Braniff Airways, a very profitable commercial airline back in the 40's and 50's, but then filed for bankruptcy on 1984.
Margo and Bill candidly and in funny ways, explain how they met, got married, moved to South America, back to Tampa and raised their family there. Being the strong woman that she is, little by little, Margo becomes the driving force, not only in Bill's life and in Tampa's influential social circles, but also in the direction of the making of this documentary.
Shot in the year 2000, directed by Pato Corona, a Mexican filmmaker and personal friend to Cristobal Krusen, co director of the film, and Margo and Bill's son, born and raised in Tampa.
'One Main Character: The Gabby and Bill Story' touches the importance of wisdom and perseverance on the institution of marriage, and of life in general.
