Great video! I am excited to try this out. I love the idea that the 0-Coast could be generating some cool rhythms and riffs, itself and that these could be routed within the synth for more groovy modulation!
Thanks!! Reading through the manual and kinda confused w/ the programs & this helps (I think it's easier to learn by watching). A run through of all the program pages would be a really helpful demo. Thanks again & appreciate all your tips!
Thanks for this. This has got to be one of the most arcane ‘menu diving’ operations in the whole of synth-world, and one that I’ve kept putting off even there are some great ‘midi B enabled’ patches out there. Just gonna have to do it...
Can the rate of the "hidden LFOs" be changed/controlled from an external device? Say I have the MIDI-B gate set to output its square LFO. Can I change the rate of that square LFO externally without having to tap the A button?
Can you possibly explain how to use velocity in a patch? I would love to play mine with more expression and if I could assign velocity coming out of my midi-controller (axiom 25) to something it would be amazing
I plugged the main out of a Roland CR5000 thru the Coast's Balance (the right side one) but still can't hear it, maybe i need to play a note via midi in order to open the source. Thanx a lot!!I your answer make me focus more on switching my audio signal on the BALANCE seccion of the synth. : )
Ah, don't go in through the Balance input... That is basically CV control over that knob. Try sending it into the one to the left of that knob, with the arrow pointing toward it. That will get the signal in :)
I'm sure there is a better way, but you could route the Midi B Gate Out to the Tempo In, which is how I keep the click and random voltage generator in time with 1/8 and 1/16 notes.
It would be better if they strapped half a dozen of these together, combined it with D-50 style LA synthesis, and used a pretty display in place of the confusing and unintuitive LED flashes and awkward button pushes . Yeah. That would be as they say in England, a 'proper' synth.
Really?? Outside of the original D-50 there are none, and even that had a crap ROMpler built in, instead of a cool engine like this, which was my point.

Make Noise might have a video on the way covering each mode, but if not, I'll put it on the list! Thanks for watching!
+Voltage Control Lab they said probably in a week-
Thank you for clearing this up! This videos explains exactly what I wanted to do and it worked as expected :).

Yeah...thx a lot 🎼

Thank you for this explanation.
Does anybody know if the depth of the lfo’s from the CV and gate output can be adjusted? If so, how?

what is the noise generator like? can you mix noise with the vco?
Got a vid on the noise coming next week!
Any way to sync this LFO?
Yeah! Sounds like Bentley Rhythm Ace in the beginning of this vid. 👍
awwwwwwwwwesome
I cannot find the way to listen other gear through 0 coasts External Audio Input, help please! Nice vids!!
What are you plugging into it? The balance knob has to be turned to the Fundamental side to hear that incoming signal...

Yesss!! Thanx a lot for your help, It Worked perfectly. ^______^
So what you're saying is.. I would be able to route Software synth's audio into this and use it to modulate the softsynth?
how can you sync 0 coast with ableton live s tempo?

Page 6 then set the B knob to on.
Your 0 cost will now get midi clock trough MIDI

Supa Dupa Hilton there are already a million of those, this is much cooler as far as I'm concerned!
With La synthesis? that sound like that?? ...where are they hidden, cause they sure aren't showing up at Sam Ash or Guitar Center.
