anybody can train there. They even have fighters in the UFC that train there from Iceland and Russia. But on an amateur level, yeah its just like signing up at any fitness/martial arts centre
You can move freely but they add resistance to your muscles as you go through the movements. Once you take them off your legs will feel super light and free :)
