Actually, in Vampire The Masquerade, in order to be turned into a vampire you have to have ALL of the blood drained from your body, and THEN you consume the blood of the other person. A vampire's blood is addicting, and thus causes a blood bond, which has three levels based on the number of times consumed. Theo drank Emizel's blood once, so it develops a level one blood bond (at level three you are completely enthralled and turn into their barely conscious servant/puppet). With a level one blood bond, the person develops stronger feelings for the vampire, in either deep hatred or a crush, no in between (Emizel has a level one blood bond with his sire, which is why he hates him so potently aside from obvious reasons). Mechanically, there's no change, but now Theo is a human addicted to Emizel's blood with a level one blood bond. This was a really unnecessarily lengthy explanation to say that Theo can still totally consume regular human food/drink, no sweat
He could have done carbonated blood he drank lacroix afterall which is just carbonated water with slight flavoring

emizel became a vampire despite also biting the vampire that bit him, so i like to think that so- theo. that theo is also gonna (eventually) turn into a vampire like emizel cuz they bit each other at the same time :0

if emizel drank theos blood at the same time theo drank the vitae would he become a full vampire? that is how emizel got turned in the first place
I think it's only if the human loses a significant amount of blood, getting replaced with vitae? I'm not sure of the rules for this but I assume since Emizel was actively dying when he bit his syre that is why he got turned
you have to have the mortal fully drained to turn them into a vampire, but it only requires a few drops of the vampires blood (according to the VTM manual)
You have to be devoid of blood yourself and then be fed vitae to turn. Emizel's embrace was kind of inaccurate in its execution, but I forgive it because it was such a cool scene.

Fellas hear me out. What if Deacon could be like the father Shilo never had. His father seems to have been getting the milk these past episodes, so why not really.
Like I don't expect much, even some kind of advice from Deacon to Shilo is nice. (and very realistic) Especially since Deacon is a literal sheriff, I think he has his morals sorted enough to tell him the rights and wrongs of the city and folk that is LA. Since he needs to protect Shilo, I think atleast Shilo getting a little more attached than he should be, would fit his "naive" and innocent personality alot! Finally having a person that allows him stuff, that his mother or other castle members wouldn't even consider, defintely would seem like a privilage to Shilo he'd rather not lose so quickly.
Deacon on the other hand knows to not get attached. However since he'll have to spend lots time with Shilo and make sure he learn more about this society, so there's little doubt he wouldn't find Shilo's innocence to be something which doesn't need protecting.
Tbh idk why I wrote all this, I think it's obivous that a somewhat father-son relationship will happen to the two. Guess I just wanna make sure people actually considered this!

Yeah, as far as I can tell, Caitiff can be biologically clanless OR be abandoned by their sire and clan, and it seems much more like Arthur was turned as a Lasombra and then got kicked out or defected somehow, based on his abilities and personality. I think in that case the Caitiff in question would still suffer from the bane of their clan, because it'd be pretty cheap if you could get rid of ur vampiric weakness simply by leaving.
But that's just my interpretation, the rules are defs up to the guys and however they wanna play the game. I'm reeeeally interested to learn more about Arthur's whole deal.
