I do believe all belts and chains are run by electric motors ,so speeds can be adjusted as needed to the conditions. No need to have hydralics that will leak or contaminate the potatoes should a line be leaking or blow.
However do these people compete in the modern world The system needs simplifying to yield more in the field before planting To reduce harvesting time, cost and damage this is the wrong way forward for PEI Island farmers trying to operate like prairie farmers Yield more in the field with J Graham's Consultancy
why run a generator to make power for the fans? it's a 200 plus horsepower tractor. make it all electric or all hydraulic not both.
