Hey, it’s a while since saying hello. Nice muddler minnow. You spun the head very neatly. Great choice to show lots of tying techniques. Hope you’re having a great summer.
Your not going to like this but... I was given a Muddler tied in a #6 size and since I never Fly Fished I added a small Gold Spinner from Hildebrand and used it on Ultralight Spinning Tackle. It caught Trout nonstop until it literally fell apart. 😢 one of which is still my PB of just over 7lbs.
Good evening, my dear friend, I am following you from an Arab country. We do not have a method for fly fishing We have carp in the river, but we catch them using the traditional method of yellow corn or wheat flour dough...but you have to be patient for long hours until you catch. I want advice from you, my friend. What is the most favorite fly for carp, and what is the most favorite smell for carp that attracts it to it? Do you advise me whether the fly should be on the surface of the water or go down to the depth? Please reply.. Your friend Abu Imran
Every river or lake is different when it comes to fishing any species, carp included. I would not be able to say what fly works best for carp in your area. Here though, small crayfish patterns seem to work well. But I’m not sure your lakes common forage.
Hello. Do you still stand by Risen's fly rods? If so, have you tried their 23ps euro rods? Got the tight line nymphing bug and am having a tough time picking a dedicated nymph rod. Figured i would support a Christian company, but honestly it is hard to find out much about them. Thank you so much for your time. Love your videos.
Yes I love their rods. I have not specifically fished their euro nymphing rod sizes but I do have a couple 23ps in the 9’ variety’s. Great rods! Nice sensitive tips, but a very strong and stiff backbone. For the money, I don’t think there are better rods out there honestly. Use my discount code for 15% off, that will help make it even better of a deal. I don’t fish with any other gear but risen rods. Great stuff.

No Squirrel 🐿️??
To this day I don’t know if there’s a better streamer for fishing over vegetation
I agree, it rides over all of it without the risk of getting stuck.

@@McFlyAngler Welcome my friend. The common fodder we have is yellow sweet corn and wheat flour dough.
