3:24 Krishna didn't cut Barbarik's head, Krishna showed Barbarika a vision of His Divine Form as Narayana, and blessed him and asked him to sacrifice himself. Barbarik decapitated himself, Barbarika told Krishna of his great desire to view the forthcoming battle and requested him to facilitate the same. Krishna agreed to it. In fulfillment of his request, Barbarika gave his head to Krishna.

Now; as a Kid we heard that Shyam Baba was called as Ahilyavati ka laal... but there is a controversy if he was the son of Ahilya (who was the daughter of Nag dev - when Bhim was drowned into water by Duryodhan after poisoned kheer). Duryodhan's choice was obvious that he would choose Narayani Sena and though he did not get the first choice, he got what he wanted and would have choosen!

And Barbarick’s heads was not cut off and hung from the branch of a tree because there would be no end to the war. The reason was that at the end, there would be not one soul left alive on the battlefield.

Can you specify from which sources you found out kalaripayattu was fought during the Mahabharata time?. As of my knowledge kalaripayatyu was raised and practiced in south india and is a fighting technique popular in kerala

द्रोण की मृत्यु का की खबर सुन सकुनी कर्ण डर के मारे सैनिको के साथ भाग गए।।
जयदर्थ वध पर्व अध्याय 139 श्लोक 76
भीम के द्वारा कर्ण घायल होकर भीम के डर से अपने रथ मे दुपक् कर बैठ गया।।
और अंत मे श्री कृष्ण द्वारा कर्ण को नीच अधर्मी कहना।।

द्रुपदी की शादी अर्जून से हुई थी। श्री कृष्णा ने द्रोपदी के सवालों का जवाब देते हुए खुद द्रोपदी को बताया की ही द्रोपदी तुमने जिस वर की कामना की थी और मैने आशीर्वाद दिया था वो कर्ण था न की अर्जुन पर जब तुमने कर्ण को ठूकरा दिया तो तो वो पांच गुण पांच पांडवों में थे पर चुकी मेरा आशिर्वाद व्यर्थ नही जाता तो अर्जुन की पत्नी हो कर भी तुम्हे माता कुंती के मुख से निकले वचनों के कारण पांच पति मिले जिन्हे तुम चाह कर भी ठुकरा ना सकी। यहां पर ये बात पता चलती है की विवाह तो उसका सिर्फ अर्जुन से हुआ पर कुंती और भाग्य के है मजबूर होकर वह पत्नी पांच पांडव की कहलाई। इक अन्य कथा के अनुसार वो हिडिंबा और कुंती के मध्य संवाद है हिडिम्बा कहती है हे माते आप पांचों पांडवों को एक रखने के लिए द्रुपदि को सबकी पत्नी बना दिया पर उसके मन में तो बस अर्जुन थे और मूझ पतिव्रता को ऐसे त्याग दिया जैसे मेरा कोई वजूद ही नही । तो द्रुपादि का विवाह और पति केवल अर्जुन थे पर पत्नी वो पांडवों की थी बात में थोड़ा अंतर है।
