The interesting thing I noticed is that the block from Raichi during the Team V's final goal attampt mimic the block from Reo not long ago. Raichi is paying attention not only to Reo but others too, a good defender mentality for a striker lol.
I saw that Nagi's awakening due to reo...he seemed like he didn't care about anything but he did spent his 6 months with reo training and seeing him being cornered by the opponents made him "try" himself instead of relying on him....but i agree with Carlie that it was something for the episode but i accepted the reasoning
It was not something for this episode, if you read episode nagi you would know it actually happened before this match. But im not gonna spoil anything.
When they’re together Nagi won’t think for himself and Reo got shut down easily because all he does is looking to pass to Nagi. And that makes them always lost.
@@ihkeseteeietos5722 yeah exactly that's why I said it was not so out of the blue coz Nagi was somewhat intrigued by isagi before the match and when backed into the corner seeing reo like that he reacted by himself
I think Raichi deserved MVP. I think he hindered Reo, Nagi and Zangetsu from at least a goal each with his defence but I get why everyone is awed by Nagi
Nah nagi deserves it, he scored a amazing goal, then would have scored the final goal if oh dude didn't literally tackle him💀 rachi ain't really do nothing this episode, yhea he motivated the team and had one save but that's about it.
@@marquicebroadwater2607 I hear what you're saying for Nagi but I don't think you're giving Raichi the props he deserves for this episode. He locked Reo down even though he didn't want to defend, took an elbow to the throat and shrugged it off, I don't think anyone else on team Z was capable of trapping Reo like that apart from Isagi, but he needed to be on Nagi, and if Reo could move as he wanted I think Reo would not only have set up Nagi for more goals but he may have scored himself. Also Raichi stopped Zangetsu when everyone was fighting after the free kick, if he hadn't been there Zangetsu would have scored. So for me that's minimum 2 maybe 3 goals Raichi prevented. BUT there's no glory in defence so I get the hype over Nagi scoring and just being an actual genius but if Raichi didn't defend like he did i think team Z would have lost before Kuon decided to do anything. I honestly love Nagi and I do think Nagi is better overall but for this episode I do believe Raichi contributed to the flow of the game more than Nagi even if he wasn't flashy about it.
@@Danna-o5k well he didn't really lock reo down because he had isagi helping him. He took a elbow to the throat last episode so it doesn't count, also I could say nagi took a FULL BLOWN SPEAR and shrugged it off. Isagi wasn't really on nagi, nagi was getting triple teamed for most of the match. I gave him credit for stopping zantetsu that's all he really did, if your going to say hes the MVP for that then lemon should be the MVP for blocking reos shot and gagumarou should be MVP for blocking nagis shot🤷🏽♂️ and rachi did not contribute to flow of the game more than nagi💀 at the beginning of the episode reo felt locked up by rachi and isagi, but nagi taking the ball from reo and scoring that goal completely shifted reos mind he felt like they could score more, so he brought hes team back from feeling hopeless to making them think that they can crush team z with that one goal. Also like I said nagi was gonna score the game winning goal if it wasn't for that tackle.
Carlie you understood it backward. Kuon tackling Nagi down puts him at risk of not going forward cause he lost his points by taking a red card, Kunigami got the 1st place so if they still lose after this tackle Kuon is done for. His best option was to let Nagi score the goal l, they would’ve lost but Kuon could’ve still gone to the next phase. edit: also, Kuon saying he only did it for himself is kinda not logical and therefor must be him saving his face that's all
Nagi got motivation after he saw that sad face one reo . even woth everything between them after you watch the movie you will realize how strong their relationship is and how they think about each other , sadly many people temds to misscharactrize their relationship a lot bit you will get to know deeply about their relationship amd why nagi acts so suddenly like that in movie
iirc it was mentioned off hand in a magazine interview where the author mentioned after his time as Isayamas (author of AOT) assistant, he was always drawn to Eren and Mikasa's design so Rin took elements of their designs. Rin is basically the son of Eren and Mikasa😆
Nagi has never had any motivation to go after the ball cause he knows reo will always get it to him so when he saw Reo discourage he had motivation to get the ball himself
Carlie, you are so tunnel-visioned on the characters that the anime presents first, that you miss out on all the awesomeness that arrives after, because you just see it as a threat to your initial attachment.
Something to cheer me up after that L we took last night, klopp sent himself up for failure with that starting line up yesterday but either way nagi is my favourite character in this show what an amazing guy ❤
Nagi has been a lazy skillfull person who was just playing soccer with the person that introduced him into the sport with no much effort, seing his friend against the ropes and starting to taste "the defeat" Nagi awakes this mental of starting to create more openings by moving or doing something else, as Isagi said, taking initiative instead of just receiving the passes just like that, i dont think it was too complex if you ask me
Its crazy how bro said how yall losing when its 10 v 11 when in reality its a 3 v 11 cause nagi, reo, and zantetsu are the only one doing stuff💀 they defense can't stop anything💀
From what I understand to what Carlie said that she didn't enjoy that much Nagi's awakening, I see it as she didn't enjoy it that much compared to others's awakenings like Bachira and Chigiri. For me personally, I don't know much about soccer, so when you watch it as a non-soccer watcher, you will not appreciate Nagi that much. Yes, he's been doing difficult stuff, but not something that makes you hype. He's doing extra-ordinary stuff, but if you don't know about football, you will not understand it, so we base our first impressions on what we see and what we think is cool. Bachira and Chigiri's awakening is pretty easy to appreciate, even random people can see how hyped those scenes are.
lol very random but Carlie kissing her teeth at 8:50 made me laugh more than i should have. i honestly it was more of an African/Caribbean aunite thing to do. never seen someone else do it
I can compare the ff characters to these real life player: Isagi = KDB, modric, Messi Bachira = Vinicius Jr/Neymar Kunigami= Jude Bellingham Gagamaru= Zlatan Barou=Haaland Raichi= Pepe? 😂
I feel like Nagi's moment of 'awakening' here was kind of like Tsukishima in Haikyuu. Tsuki had even been playing longer (a few years) compared to Nagi, but this was Nagi's "blocking Ushiwaka" moment, where he suddenly realises how much he could actually love this game. I do also quite like how they did Kuon's moment. It's obviously just a small start to getting back on board with the team, but it was done in a way that's very true to his character. It's still an underhanded move, it's still very much self-serving (like Carlie said, he wasn't going through if Team Z lost), but it shows he's starting to consider ways he can use his snake nature for the team rather than purely for himself.
