This is really helpful as me and my thai girlfriend are in a long distance relationship and I can use these to compliments her to somehow make her day beautiful :) Kop khun na krap for this video
Thank you! Just a suggestion for your videos: Can you please replay the role play at the end so we can listen to the language in real context again to help retain the knowledge. I love your videos x
Thanks for making another video. I want to discuss the word 'Abate'. I don't think it's commonly used in English conversation. I'm trying to think of another word. If I'm not wrong, what your trying to say is "Your beauty is exceptional" or "Your beauty is without exception"
Knackebrodz I believe "Your beauty hasn't faded" is a better translation. สร่าง didn't typically refer to positive attributes or events, so this expression is a bit tongue-in-cheek.
Thank you for your suggestion. It was tricky to find a direct English phrase for the Thai phrase "สวยไม่สร่าง /mâi sàang/" which is used to convey the meaning "No matter how much time passes you are still beautiful."
My girlfriend is always laughing when I come up with the sweet words from your videos. She always says; its too sweet. You cannot say that when we are in Thailand :p
Oh! really! I think words we are teaching are commonly used in Thailand. but if they are slang it is appropriate to use with your close relationship only.
ครูแพร เธอสวยอย่างกับนางฟ้า ตกมาจากเมฆก้อนไหนเนี่ย อิอิ Maybe you could also one day do a lesson on มุขจีบสาว เช่น ช> ขอโทษครับ หน้าคุณอ่ะครับ ญ> ทำไมอ่ะ ช> หน้า...หน้า...น่ารักจังเลย ฯลฯ
Are all compliments that Thai women want have a basis around her being beautiful? Don't smarts, compassion, courage, vision etc mean something? ruclips.net/video/wSa4Od9gynQ/видео.html
Personally, I think that these women are quite vain. Buddha has said that all things in life are impermanent, your beauty today will be destroyed when you are old. Why just complement wife, and not the husband for a balanced view?
Excellent role playing!
เป็นสิ่งที่สำคัญคนผู้ชายมีคำชมเชยอย่างนี้บอกให้ผู้หญิง Thanks for the videos. Keep them coming!
You could do one for how to compliment friends who are male or female like you look cool 😎

Knackebrodz I think the word we're looking for is "fade"...as in, your beauty is not fading

That's right! Why couldn't I think of that translation. Thank you!
You seem like you know you're beautiful but not sure if it's like an angel... don't worry you are :)
Thank you for your kind compliment. :)

LOL. That is a good one. We were thinking of doing that.

We are happy to hear that you enjoyed the lesson.

Now lets learn how to compliment guys haha

I say to my girlfriend suay mak. Is the same as suay wer. She always say mai suay then I have to suay mak mak you get the picture. 5555
"suay wer" is slang and sound more trendy. :)

Khob koon krap kru Pear. I will surprise her with that next time we talk. 😊
That's nice!
Why do you speak so much English in Thai lessons?
Personally, I think that these women are quite vain. Buddha has said that all things in life are impermanent, your beauty today will be destroyed when you are old. Why just complement wife, and not the husband for a balanced view?
