Being a Reno local, this is a backyard trail for me...I almost crashed exactly like you did there last year. I just got lucky...That lead in is deceptive as you can’t see the rock that stuffed your front tire...sneaky for sure. Really enjoy your videos btw, no bs, just stellar riding. Cheers.
Do you find the two segments of the TRT (one south of Tunnel Creek Road, one north) going up to the meadow from chimney beach to be too difficult to ride?

Man, these types of crashes make me be careful on new trails, you dont know what's coming up...
The sandy trail with the steep drop-off is the Marlette Flume not the TRT

Hey Geoff, the put in is at Tahoe meadows near Mount Rose and you ride the TRT to the Flume trail to the Chimney DH trail. It totals about 19 miles.
