She was supposed to be one element of a larger formation but that bad editing made it look like she was supposed to do something monumental and it looked underwhelming. It looks better in the Full Cam version and dance practice... Also, they shot from the top to show the fall backwards, but lost the effect of seeing the formation from the front. That time they at least had good intentions. Oh, well...
The girls got bruises for this performance, while mnet casualy destroyed it with the camerawork. Anyways, orbits never give up! Go like the performance to show our love to the girls and their work.

I’m really proud of LOONA for showing something soooo different every single round. Historical badassness, cuteness, sweet serenity, sexy catlike charms, and butterfly elegance - and now this!! There’s a full cam version of it that’s a lot less rage-inducing. Some people have called brave girls’ performance a cheap emotional ploy to get streams, but I think it was just brave girls genuinely showing their fans where they’ve been and where they intend to go. A huge part of their charm had been their genuine ajd I don’t think that’s changed. And Hyolyn was as good as she’s been all through qu’endomètre. From touch my body on she’s operated on the same level of quality.

the best thing with loona doing pose is that it's something they've never done before. and thats what i love about them is that they never fail us with their artistic integrity. they want to show us that their capabilities are as endless as the message of empowerment they always express. that we can do anything we put our mind to and that we're not meant to be boxed into one thing. also this is basically them spitting at everyone that kept badgering them for a traditionally girl crush "powerful" performance (even tho they HAVE been giving us powerful performances in this show, its just not in the stereotypical girl crush way they all think loona is)
The camerawork made me so mad too like you can’t even see what they’re doing. it's always been pointed out for so many times, for a loona performance to be appreciated in all its glory, all the camera has to do is stay in front where the entire stage is seen and that's where the magic HAPPENS. the fact that nearly all of their performances are not catered to following camera around but to show images, forms, through their dance/choreography as a whole is really, really amazing but also eternally frustrating bc cameramen are 90% BAD at capturing their performances.
The fact that they had ZERO points in the 1st round, and they actually have a chance to win Queendom says about about our Loona! i think that is part of the reason why they voted it because the story wasnt conveyed n hence not understood by them, but it was a fanbased performance so they took their fans view in the priority and the votings spoke for itself, so noones at a fault when it came to loona's ranking everyone had their own reasons and all of them were valid
Honestly i think most of the reason this performance isn't getting the love it deserves is the camera work... What a fucking shame. Just gotta watch the full cam after streaming is over.
Even with how poor the camera work was in the original episode (I far prefer the full cam,) I still couldn't help tearing up during the Butterfly performance. For a fan song/performance, I literally couldn't dare to ask for more from the girls (I'll kindly ask MNET to figure their shit out though.) I have been streaming the performance as I'm supposed to, but when the stream period is over, I'm probably going to exclusively watch the full cam version. Personally very excited for the POSE performance, it's a little scary but I'm so used to them doing something new to them, that I can't help but feel excited. It seems like a competition song, and I'm excited for the choreo (I have said excited three times lol.) (I like the other performances too, as I have all of them for the most part during Q2.) Honestly the only performances that really catched my eyes were from Loona and Brave Girls. Those two performances were made for the fans, they put their whole mind and soul in that, and honestly they had me in tears. BG showing this concept, and themselves was beautiful indeed. And Loona not changing the entire choreo just because of the meaning of the performance itself, just thinking in what the fans love. Hope the best for them both 💜💜

No but like, honestly, the camera work for ALL the Queendom contestants has been either subpar or plain trash. From Brave Girls' first round where there were so many unnecessary close ups, Kepler's The Boys had so many awkward angles, WJSN also had that in Pantomime... Like, can y'all get A GRIP. There has been some amazing moments but not enough to make up for the rest of the work 😹😹😹

Yeahh camera work did not give justice to loona's performance. It was Haseul who narrated and it was Yeojin's idea to include a narration on their performance. Actually, they worked together to create the stage from outfits to the new remix for butterfly. ✨

it made me so upset when almost everyone voted them as worst performance bc nobody understood butterly's impact
i think that is part of the reason why they voted it because the story wasnt conveyed n hence not understood by them, but it was a fanbased performance so they took their fans view in the priority and the votings spoke for itself, so noones at a fault when it came to loona's ranking everyone had their own reasons and all of them were valid
Honestly i think most of the reason this performance isn't getting the love it deserves is the camera work... What a fucking shame. Just gotta watch the full cam after streaming is over.
Even with how poor the camera work was in the original episode (I far prefer the full cam,) I still couldn't help tearing up during the Butterfly performance. For a fan song/performance, I literally couldn't dare to ask for more from the girls (I'll kindly ask MNET to figure their shit out though.) I have been streaming the performance as I'm supposed to, but when the stream period is over, I'm probably going to exclusively watch the full cam version.
Personally very excited for the POSE performance, it's a little scary but I'm so used to them doing something new to them, that I can't help but feel excited. It seems like a competition song, and I'm excited for the choreo (I have said excited three times lol.)
(I like the other performances too, as I have all of them for the most part during Q2.)

Honestly the only performances that really catched my eyes were from Loona and Brave Girls. Those two performances were made for the fans, they put their whole mind and soul in that, and honestly they had me in tears. BG showing this concept, and themselves was beautiful indeed. And Loona not changing the entire choreo just because of the meaning of the performance itself, just thinking in what the fans love. Hope the best for them both 💜💜

No but like, honestly, the camera work for ALL the Queendom contestants has been either subpar or plain trash. From Brave Girls' first round where there were so many unnecessary close ups, Kepler's The Boys had so many awkward angles, WJSN also had that in Pantomime... Like, can y'all get A GRIP. There has been some amazing moments but not enough to make up for the rest of the work 😹😹😹

And that viviz song is so excellent, begs the question where they were hiding all along during queendom… because,a Dani say that as a huge buddy, viviz were always reliably good live but it struck me their performances lacked a certain ‘next level’ kind of feeling, there wasn’t exactly an ‘oh shit’ moment like with other groups. And I really feel bad saying that.

The camera work ruined it, is just so bad how they showed it, all the highlights moments were skipped. That could be the reason why the other teams weren't impacted with butterfly.
