I need bro, please inbox me to everestdhakalstudyworld@gmail.com let's gossip there . I am in need of all instruments to travel himalayas
One the best things about these trips is CLEAN air. Although you are tired from the physical exercise, breathing all that clean air is so refreshing for the mind. You feel so clean inside. Is that the same for you?!
This is one of the coolest things ive seen. I would love to do this someday!
'Road"?? In the loosest sense of the word- so much Hell No. You are a brave man, Gabriel. Thank you for documenting these places.
Ha ha, yeah really. Thanks Anni.
+anni dee lol that's a everyday route for Nepalese
u got to see the place real...its himalays!! u need guts if u ain't frm here!
+anni dee its just trailer route the whole annapurna base circuit is totally full with this type of road
Thats the road to heaven so its gonna be pretty tough lol
thanks for the details gabriel, i love your travel videos.
These roads and mountains bring back a lot of memories.i myself traveled all nepal in 1996 on a 100cc motorcycle. Once we were thirsty and drank from the water flowing in the mountains, just off the grass. Never tasted that kind of water again.
Awesome.
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE that video and I am so looking forward to your videos from the circuit trek.
I walked around the same trek from Besisahar in March of 1992, there were no roads. It was so beautiful, the roads have taken away the adventure. 28 days of bliss.
Yeah it's kind of a shame about the roads. But the good news is there's still a trail you can hike that's away from the road, so you can trek it without being on the road.
You have got to have " Schwarznegger" size balls to take a ride on that steep, narrow, dirt road ! Insane !! Chicago, IL.
I also made that ride only another way round. I hiked the circuit from the other side. The waterfall is the most special moment i will never forget! Thx Gabriel
Damn, you went over Thorung La pass from the other side? That would be intense.
@@GabrielTravelerVideos It was intense but i had a very good day and start around 4 in the night. Walk very slow because the altitude goes from 4200-5416 meters. Made it over the pass all the way to Yak Kharka that day. The day after i hiked for two hours but i could' nt go any further. I wanna go back becauce i watch almost all youre Nepal video's last week lol
@@rakemans Very cool. My friend John and I were considering going that way back in 2016 because we did the ABC first and wanted to keep going. But we'd heard it was tough doing it the other way around, so decided to start on the other side. We went back to Pokhara and rested for a few days before starting the circuit. Good to know it can actually be done that way, but sounds like an early start is crucial.
@@GabrielTravelerVideos My decision to do the circuit was in Ghorepani. I start to do the ABC first but change my mind and go direction Muktinath. I go back one day.
Enjoy youre life and travels. I wish you all the best!
thank u guys for visiting nepal
..still its a great adventure...interesting!..
Such an adventure! Those jeep rides must be so fun if not truly terrifying or a little nerve racking :)
Definitely all of the above!
I am already through this road ...gret
It's been awhile since i haven't watch your videos Gabe. We just had a wildfire and got evacuated from the city. As always, love your videos and so informative.
I am physically having a problem watching. I trekked Annapurna some years ago which temporarily cured my fear of heights. I am more scared than ever now
I did the Annapurna circuit in Feb-Mar of 1989. They were just starting to build roads up into the mountains at that time and we actually started walking from Besisahar. We got beyond the road on the first day if my memory serves me correctly and it took us a week and a half to get to Thorang La. We actually did the entire circuit on foot, walking all the way to Pokara although we could have caught a jeep part of the way back. In 1996, I did a trek out of Darjeeling, India and we started off with a jeep ride up into the mountains which is one of the hairiest rides I've ever taken - it was constant switchbacks and two of the members of our group were so freaked out they got out and walked; they never did catch up to us.
Cool stories. It's kind of a shame that there's a road now, although I suppose the local residents appreciate it.
Nice video Gabe got to see John
Image stabilisation may've come a long way in the last few years but this really shows what those bloody roads can be like for bone shaking. I think a little bit is probably osteo-therapeutic. Or something. Maybe. 😂 Nearly bit my tongue off eating a samosa on a bus up in the Chamba valley once.
Love the off road....awsome view of my country🇳🇵🇳🇵🇳🇵🇳🇵🇳🇵
WOW. This a fantastic video. Your off your head. Very exciting.
That waterfall was incredible!
Yes Himalayan fresh air to breath in such pure air u lost in it u forget all tiredness

Yeah I hear you, it was definitely pretty crazy at the time and not quite what I was expecting. I figured it would be a bad road, but not quite like that. But hey we survived and it made for an interesting video.

OHH HELL NO!!! I have a fear of heights.. No way would I get anywhere near that.. Sea Level for this old Dawg!!!.. Glad you made it through Safe.. :)
Crazy. Another great video. Loving your channel.

Must go there in winter. In monsoon you never know when you will be swiped away by landslides. I usually take this kind of rides in night time so I don't get scared. 😊

I did this once, it's more fun if you stand at the back
Very adventurous road, can easily make it to the most dangerous roads in the world.
More power & energy to u

Hey Gabe, please make your trip to Bardia National Park. You will have great opportunities to see mega vertebrates like Rhinos and Elephants. If you are lucky, you will have a chance to see Bengal Tiger. Bardia National Park is also my birth place and I would love to see you take a jungle hike with my buddies there. A lot of my friends run hotels there. I can hook you up there with great discount as well. Have a safe journey.
I love nepal n thanku gabriel traval👍👍👍
So much beauty along the way. Breathtaking, for sure. I would stay at base-camp and wait for your return. Just *NOPE*!
Hi i just want to ask..have you ever visited boho? Because you looks familiar
Where is Boho?
hey gabe so have you decided where your next travels will be like what country or where else in Nepal you might choose to go to
I'm thinking about it, was checking flights recently and have one place in mind, will keep it a secret for now but let you guys know once I book a flight! Most likely I'll be headed somewhere new within the next couple of weeks.
Insane road, dang
Is the North Yungas Road more daredevilish?
(It's safe if you don't go there!)
Have you visited Poland. I haven't seen a video
Courageous man
Nice videos Gabriel. It would be great if you can put vlog numbers on each vlog so that it can be watched in a sequence.
Hi, I put all the Annapurna trekking videos in a playlist so they can be watched in sequence that way:
ruclips.net/video/V70ROgqQYhE/видео.html
4:34 that's the road??? Wow
Intense!
About what did you spend approximately on this trek in total? Also have you done the Everest base camp trek
I haven't done the EBC yet. I don't know how much in total I spent on this trip, but here's a video in which I show the prices:

Hi i amnepali thank for exposing our country and plz come to visit makwanpur gadhi and plz rely
It sucks how you move your camera.
what is the name of the precarious looking pass in this video, Gabriel? B-)
Good question Ron, but I'm really not sure, I never learned the name of that one.
awesome video as always man :) Also what part of america are you from
I'm from northern California originally (where I was raised and went to high school), but have lived in Alaska, Hawaii and Oregon, and my storage space and current address are both in Oregon.
Gabriel Traveler ahhh awesome man, I've been to California many times, mainly San Fran and los Angeles, I must say los Angeles is very much like gold coast Australia except bigger haha. But I've mainly been to America to snowboard (usually every year) and I went to places such as breckinridge, veil, steamboat and aspen which are awesome places. Las Vegas is also pretty good, different though. my mother has been to Alaska and is one of her favorite places in the world
Cool. I've noticed a lot of Aussies working at the ski resorts! My dad lives in Colorado so I've been skiing there as well.
How much did it cost for the jeep ?
I forget but not much, around $8-10.
I can't look down...and I am at home!
wow this is crazy
Yeah, it seriously was.
nice
You need image stabilized camera and/or lens, it could have been awesome video.
Yeah there was just no way around it with this one, that jeep was bucking around like crazy. I was trying my damndest to keep the camera steady but it was impossible under those conditions. Imagine what it was like in real life! :)
Gabriel Traveler I know. One can't keep it still no matter how experienced they are. One hell of a ride. But seriously a OSS camera will serve you real good. I have been researching myself for such a camera and found out if the lens is oss (Optical SteadyShot, lenses with optical image stabilization) it makes a lot of difference. And with a hand held stablizer like glidecam or flycam we can make the shots much more steady while walking around.
Good to know, I'll write that down. The thing is I don't want a fancy-looking contraption that attaches to the camera because that would attract too much attention while traveling in a foreign country. So internal image stabilization is the best way to go.
+Gabriel Traveler Valid point. :)
Himalayas are the greatest mountain in the world..Hey gabriel have you ever gone to himachal (india).
Yes, I've been to Mcleod Ganj, Shimla and Manali in Himachal Pradesh, amazing places
Nepal is Naturely country in the world more than india
Mahindra bolero perfect and nice place.
Welcome to nepal
would you ever do that insane Jeep ride again?
Yeah I probably would, though I wouldn't be excited about it. Although if I do the Annapurna Circuit again, I think I'd rather start by hiking anyway, because I hear it's a beautiful hike through the area we drove past.
HOLY SHIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Visit Nepal 2020
Was this after the quake?
Yes, one year later (the quake was April 2015, this was May 2016).
Gabriel Traveler Looks alright! I am Nepali-Australian and I haven't been to my country after the quake.
I saw some effects from the quake but mostly Nepal is doing okay. However Durbar Square in Kathmandu has been pretty devastated.
Gabriel Traveler Thanks for the info! :)
Besisahar to Manang road in Nepal .
Exactly.
Thank you .
Hi Gabe,
How much did you guys pay for the jeep ride? I was just quoted $450 by my hotel tour desk to go solo, but kinda get the feeling that they are asking too much. So I may start the trek in Beshi Sahar instead. Cheers. Hope your travels are going well. Will properly catch up on your recent videos after the trek ✌🏻️
hey, do you mean $450 USD??? I hope not, maybe you meant rupees? (Except that would be too cheap I guess.) I don't remember exactly how much we paid but it couldn't have been more than $15-20 per person (1,500-2,000 Nepali rupees). But if you got a jeep all to yourself then yes, it would be more expensive. No Need to do that though. In Besisahar you can ask around and you should be able to find a shared jeep and the driver will probably quote you a fair price.
Gabriel Traveler Haha..yes $450! Crazy right..even for one person I think it's too high. I'm relieved that you mentioned about looking for a ride because I had the same advice here. The moment he mentioned the price I didn't believe it. I guess this is when travel experience pays off hey! I'd love to experience the ride through the Himalayas after seeing this, so thanks so much for letting me know. That's made my day! 😄✌🏻️
How much was the ride?
I forget exactly but I think around 1000 rupees which is about $10. Maybe a little more than that.
i think nepal is cheap when u take USD with you haha
Yes, exactly.
07:10 Really scary.....😲
Good
"The Himalayas are perfectly safe". (4:10)
Oh really??

So Scary!
Way to manang district
it that " road " for two way traffic?
Yep. Fortunately we didn't come across any oncoming vehicles on the super crazy part.
I felt sick just watching this. How the heck did you hold that camera? Yikers.
You should write a lot books for many of us to read.
I've written seven: www.amazon.com/Gabriel-Morris/e/B001JS0KOS/
These roads are very bad.. Thanks for the video .
I wish you had a gimbal on your camera.
My new camera has better stabilization.
" A little taste" put it on a teacher and sale them. You will make a killing.Great video and I have been on some roads like that in Bolivia and Peru. Awesome baby with a capital A.
Gabriel , you really love your life ??
Hay brother nice video
Thanks.
"It'll be fine"
Sorry but you only Drive not Trek. the Street destroy the Trek to Manang. i walkend in the past 4 Times Arround Annapurna, but this is ugly
Yeah it's a shame but the road is already there and isn't going away. We started trekking after that. I agree it would be much nicer without the road.
+Gabriel Traveler Dear Gabriel this is not your fault.spent more time in Manang for resting. But your Video are great 😀
but locals need roads too.
👍👍
