Owen is 23 people! I don’t know his backstory, but what he is doing is amazing regardless. I get the sense that I would feel absolutely comfortable flying with Own on any aircraft to any destination. He is buttoned down and serious about what he does and it’s all based on merit. Good luck and keep it up Owen.

100% "networking" ! Great points made by the guys here. Like they suggest, I immediately got a job at an FBO in Nashville while doing initial training. It was all about building time any way I could. I met a lot of corporate pilots who were CFIs and begged them to take me along anytime they could. I logged a lot of free training hours that way and I loaded bags, filled ice, or anything they needed, and was happy to do it. I continued that to get any experience available. Those guys brought opportunities and introductions to others in Nashville that helped me a lot. The average guy can't afford the hours they want, but there are ways to get hooked up. I did. Great video guys, as always !

Fantastic information and insight into the kind of attitude a young person with dreams of being a corporate pilot needs to know!
Can never underestimate the good karma that a willingness to work hard and do what it takes to succeed without being a complainer or making life hard for others by not showing up will get you.

When you become a cfi you will have students. These students need you to teach them, so they can fly safely. You seem to have had a good instructor. The first most important qualification is that you have a passion for aviation which Owen has if he soloed at 16 years old. I would also add however that most pilot gigs are not this glamorous especially if you're a pilot flying cargo for a company like Fedex or UPS. It can get monotonous and you can begin to feel like a high tech truck driver.

With you flying with NO Passengers, how would someone be able to hop on a flight like that? I don't travel much anymore, but when I do, it's a MONSTER Hassle, and was wondering if there was a "group" or Site, that would say, "Hey, we're flying from say Denver to Los Angeles and we have a few seats available for X amount of $$. Love your videos, VERY informative and excellent look "Behind the Scenes". Keep up the good work, as we enjoy your travels.

I believe for privacy they don’t show or disclose their passengers. Most likely they were flying musicians to Nashville.

I designed the Fuel system for the G150, and I am also pretty sure that the said refresher didn't hand itself...
