i love your minnie topper. i was stressing over how i would accomplish this intricate topper and stumbled onto your video. thanks so much for sharing. im excited to do this now.
Thank you so much for this tutorial...I've got an order for a cake like this and i just made this minnie mickey mouse topper following your tutorial..Please would it be able to stand on my cake without falling down when i use it next week??I'm so anxious as this is my first time of doing such topper
Hi Buchi, if you have left the cake pop sticks long enough to go deep into the cake (I usually ensure they reach the bottom of the cake) it should be fine. You could put a little edible glue under Minnie's chin to stick it to the fondant which would make it a little more secure. The only other tip I would give is to ensure it is moved/transported carefully. Hope this helps & thank you for watching :0)
Hi Israel Barrio, the too I used was a veining tool also known as a dresden tool. It is widely available from cake decorating suppliers, Amazon, Ebay e.c.t.

wow you make it look so easy. is the black modeling paste and the skin tone and red, pink fondant?
Hi Chi, yes the black is modelling paste to ensure it dries firm & keeps it's shape. Everything else is fondant. Thank you very much for watching :0)

+Max's Cake Studio How long did it take to dry? It look pretty thick.
I left it to dry for 48 hrs, thank you for watching :0)
I made one but moisture in the air is too high at the moment. How can I store this topper so It can dry quicker?
Hi Harpriya, I would suggest placing it in a cardboard box to dry, this should help with the high moisture, thank you for watching :0)
Did u use black gel food colour to do the tracing?
Hi Esther, I did yes, Sugarflair liquorice
