    Voice 2 is the voice you want to be using if you play high gain music so you have to get a EMG push pull pot if you want to get the full potential out of your fisherman influence pick ups if it wasn’t for voice too I would’ve never taken out my EMGs

    great video, what if i had only one bridge pu (emg) and i would like to change it to a modern fishman, the solderless wiring kit is in this guitar too.... will it works if i only change the pu, or i have to ground it too? i think i dont have or iam wrong?

    • @KrishinPillay
      @KrishinPillay  6 месяцев назад

      Yeah, you would need to connect the string ground wire for the fishman pickup. Should be the same as in the video

    Hey man, thanks for this video! Do you know where to connect the bridge ground if I’m using the solderless 3-way selector from EMG?

    • @Mr__V
      @Mr__V 2 месяца назад +2

      Ground can go anywhere with a ground connection pin.
      You can use any ground left over on any pot and it will be fine.

    Two days ago? Bro did you make this video specifically for me or what?
    Probably stupid question here, to take advantage of the coil tap, you’d have to at least replace the pots correct?

    • @KrishinPillay
      @KrishinPillay  Год назад

      Yeah , you would need to replace the pots with the EMG push pull pots and then figure out how the wiring works. Just looking at the diagrams , it seems fairly straight forward , but I havent test it out myself. If you do get them , let me know how it goes!

    The pots in the EMG solderless kit are garbage.

    • @KrishinPillay
      @KrishinPillay  6 месяцев назад

      I tend to agree , when compared to CTS , etc. But they are not the worst out there

    • @war2thegrave
      @war2thegrave 6 месяцев назад

      @KrishinPillay I got a set that came with the used Jim Root Daemonums I picked up.
      They were trashed. I opened them to see why, and I found a lot of broken plastic.
      I removed the PCB's and soldered them to some CTS pots. Overall, It would have been better a d less frustrating to just solder the pickups in.

      @Mr__V 2 месяца назад

      @@war2thegravethey use cheap pots cause it's a very high output factory setting.
      I'm not going to defend emg, since as a lefty they don't make lefty pots available unless you request them and buy them separately for more then a kit costs..
      But.
      For people for don't feel safe soldering, or change things out constantly, solderless is better for them.
