I love mine for my laptop, it is the 13“ laptop version, my 14” laptop fits in nicely. it fits perfectly. I bought it in July 2020. Mine still looks like new, though with Covid I have not used it much on a commute. I can store my laptop and tablet in the sleeve compartment. Since mine is smaller, the pockets are bit smaller, I can get my laptop power brick, a mouse, a stylus and an ID card and a power bank for the tablet. There is only one pen slot in the smaller pocket on the right side of the bag, instead of the larger version having two. I see no loose threads on mine, and it is still looks like new. Pet hairs are just wiped off. I have been caught in the rain in Denmark, never had an issue with things getting wet. You can put a zipper pull with color on the zippers to make them easier to find if you wanted.
Just bought one, went looking for reviews, and there are alot of them that are just music I don't want to hear combined with a bunch of cheesecake photo passes. You review was in-depth, honest, and well put together video. Thanks for the (real) review.
From what I've read, the Defender-A42 bag only had two rubber "CornerArmors" on the bottom of the bag, instead of all four corners being protected with the Defender-A17 bag, hence not being able to feel them. Thanks for this! I'd wanted to know how many accessories I could place in the front pouches.
Thank you for the review. Just got this bag for my Macbook Pro 16". Is it really safe to put accessories facing the screen? I am afraid it might break the screen.
@@PackHacker2 items will be charger, cord, mouse, pen and notebook. Just like what they advertised. But I just found out how heavy that charger brick is. I am a new user.
Hello, are you planing to do a review on the Kathmandu litehaul 38l backpack? Or the Deuter aviant access pro 55? Both seem like pretty solid and comfortable one bag travel bags.

No wonder this looks so familiar I bought one years back and it’s very sturdy. And it’s soft inside for the laptop with is great.
Thanks for sharing 😃

Had to thumbs up for the Pilot G2. Man of class.
Hello, thanks for your sharing…
Would it be possible to fit both MacBook and iPad together?
That Gryffindor sweater though ❤️

Hi Angela, thanks for watching! You can check out our full review here: packhacker.com/travel-gear/tomtoc/versatile-a42-for-16-macbook-pro/
Do you think this bag could be used for Lenovo legion 7(16")?
Hopefully you guys can also take a look at Tomtoc's EDC slings as well. They seem like a solid pickup at a budget price.
Passed this idea along to our editor for consideration!

It depends on where you’ll be stowing it and what the items are!

Have you bought this case? I'm afraid to that too. How's the screen?
Are you worried about the fleece like material breaking down and getting into the laptop vents and other crevices?
It feels durable enough-but we’ll update the usage timeline on the full review if that does happen 😃

Hope you could get your hands on Apricoat Adventure 2.0 😊

keyboard is going to scratch the laptop defeating the purpose of the case
