      7:20 even though this inverter probably cannot support a 3kW continuous load... if the inverter was theoretically a Jacketti capable of supporting 3kW continuous that means this Jacketti would be theoretically capable of running a 3kW appliance for 39 minutes and 48 seconds right? (I know i'm a month late to class but i'm really working hard to catch up with the rest of the class.)

    I'm really glad I didn't wait for this to be released and bought the AC200L on Black Friday for $999 - that's $0.49 per WH.. I need the 48V DC output, the TT-30 outlet, etc. 9 pounds more weight and a size reduction isn't that big a deal to me.. efficiency improvements are cool, but not enough to lose these other features.. Thanks for the review that helped me feel good about buying the 200L

    • @cvcoco
      @cvcoco 14 дней назад

      Im tormented by this choice of 200L and Elite 200 and have to decide right now. I can get a 15-30a adapter but what is the dealbreaker for you for not buying the Elite 200? What accessories do you use the 48v DC output for?

    • @yougeekyou
      @yougeekyou 14 дней назад

      @@cvcoco I also bought the D40 (DC-DC converter) designed for charging 12V battery systems using the 48VDC port on the 200L. I'm installing it in my RV. It's a bit more efficient than plugging the whole trailer into the AC inverter output and using the RVs charger. Unfortunately so far I can only get about 13Amps into the batteries this way when it should be able to do 20A.. not sure why yet.

    • @cvcoco
      @cvcoco 11 дней назад

      @@yougeekyou To your question, call Bluetti, the people who answer the phone know the products. Previous to this vid I would have bought the 200L and was grateful the price dropped so much. Then I saw this and liked that the Elite has evolved tech, smaller and lighter. So I bought it two days ago and intended to get the 15-30A dogbone adapter. Then Hobo edited the video to remove 30A port discussion (and therefore dogbones) and that was sad. It means the Elite has no 30A workaround. I panicked and thought I should cancel the Elite order. Now I think just take the Elite and instead of worrying about the Elites lack of expandability like the 200L, just buy a second station with different features down the road. Prices are dropping. The newest Jackery is packed with features and 42 cents/watt. Trying to choose the perfect station has been a nightmare, frankly.

  • @TheCornucopiaProject-bd5jk
    @TheCornucopiaProject-bd5jk 28 дней назад +2

    The low conversion rate and low AC idle are amazing. In particular given that it’s a 2600 watt inverter.
    The speed of development makes it a lot harder to take a “wait and see” approach.
    I did get the AC200L this summer and I’m sure it will serve me very well for a decade. Just try to imagine what we will be having then!
    Only improvement I want to see for 2kw power stations is 1800 watt wall and solar charging. My thought in this is it would allow me to run a 1800 watt appliance without draining the battery. This way I could do my cooking during the day and heat water with the highest output but use 100% solar that way. And at night, same principle applies to wall charging with super low utility rates.

    DUDE, Could u please consider adding another TEST session into ur vids. Ive got NUWAVE 12 n 1 electric oven and my ecoflow starts wacking out when this device strats its cycling effect, screwing up power to other items that are plugged into the solar generator. This is a real pain and i thought i would ruin many other electrical devices when surging/unsurging is happening from the oven. So i stopped using the solar generator and plugged the oven into a 2500w inverter. but this kind of test would be something thats needed for consumers.. with RVs... please.

    Well, I wasn't even looking at power stations till I seen a video pop up on my screen (it wasn't yours, or this unit), and I thought to myself that winter is coming, and I haven't really had any kind of extensive power outages, but what if? And I started searching what the better ones were, which brought me to many channels delivering a lot of information. And many of their tests were the same as yours. And then I looked at all the different models and advantages and disadvantages of pretty much everything. I'm retired, fairly disabled, I don't camp or need it for that kind of thing, but what if the power goes out. I don't have close family and no friends, so I would just sit and huddle in the dark and cold with my dog while searching for candles.
    And I'm poor, living on $1,478 a month. But I have a little money from when my mother died earlier this year, and though it seems kind of like a huge waste of my money, it still leads me back to "what if"? So, I thought, I really want something that can run my refrigerator, a small low wattage lamp, and I have one of those low wattage radiator heaters. It needs to be able to run my TV, and if I can squeeze enough power out of it I'd like to use my computer. I started looking at the Bluetti AC180 with a 2oow solar panel, but finally talked myself into this Bluetti Elite 200 V2 power station with (2) 200w solar panels.
    I want to thank you for the use of your brain to help me figure it out. All told with cyber-Monday and tax included it came to $1,633. And I hope I never need it.

    Great review! I just bought AC180 in July 2024. I had a hard time buying a panel with the low amp requirement of 10 amps while approaching 500 watts. I bought a 385 watt Talesun HIPRO_TP672M new for only $100. I'm happy with the panel's performance. The 72 cell format was a good output and size lay out. Under 50 pounds is great if you want to track the sun for a performance boost. Now I'm thinking it will be hard to max out the elite 200 v2 with just 2 panels. My question is do the two panel have to be like panels with the supplied xt60 split mc4 cable? What panel set up would you recommend? My usage is to have emergency refrigerator power during power outage. I did start to use the set up to power my home office instead of being idle in storage. I need about 1,250 per 24 hours for my refrigerator. The ac inverter idle usage was a big factor in my purchase decision. The bluetti ac180 seamed to be a good fit for my needs at the time of purchase. Ecoflow's new delta 3 has two inputs at 15 amps each and 500 watts. This is a better format than the elite 200 v2 which is twice the size. Down side with ecoflow is inverter efficiency and idle usage compared to the Bluetti elite 200 v2. I'm keeping my eyes open for a better unit in the future. I have shaved my energy usage by one KW per day by powering my home office for the last 75 days. Not worth the effort unless one finds it fun.

    Can you add a quick and simple test where you run a device on the AC ports and also have it plugged into the grid. I recently found out that most power stations do not support what would be considered 'peak shaving'. I want to run a high power load from the power station in places where I have bad wiring and limited grid power. My idea was to plug my power stations into the grid and limit the charge rate while running my high power needs from the power stations. Unfortunately very few power stations support that. They all draw as much from the grid as I pull from the power station.

    I have 5 of there 180 and 240 models and they are great the only thing I wish they would do is add the time to charge and time to discharge on the App. Bluetti send me the SDK and I can make the changes in less than a day the values have already been calculated in the power station so its a simple comms packet to get the values to the app😊

    If I just use it as a UPS for my computer desktop for months at a time, will it cause an issue because it will be charged at 100% all the time right? plugged in the wall... I thought ideally you want it at around 80% charge for long term storage

      Can you tell me the extra watts needed for ups work (by using 2 wifi small plugs with meter) ? fossibot f800 takes just 6 watts more that the device needs and the rest comes from the wall, while allpowers r600 takes 20w! more which is huge.... its important for the long run and maybe connecting 2 together his way and still be low energy spending , thanks

    Used your code to order one! Thank you! Question: for longevity...is it best to run the power station down to 0% before recharging back to 100% or is it better to never let it get all the way to zero? I have 240w of solar, plus I ordered the charger-1, too. I intend to use it for full time living in a cargo trailer.

      Have a 15k btu AC unit with no soft start, Delta Pro has no issues starting unit. The Delta Pro surge is massive so not sure why it wouldn’t start ur AC. I guess if U had two units that came on at the same time it might have a problem. So if a 3600 watt inverter won’t start it what makes you think a 2600 watt inverter will?

    @hobotech i need your help. I want to use my first solar generator primarily for camping but also in case of power outages. The main thing is that id like to be able to power a portable air conditioner or heater when its super hot or cold. I attempted camping in 100 degree heat this summer. Whew. Im trying to decide between the Pecro. 3600 lfp, pecron 2400 lfp, bluetti 200 v2, or pecron 1500 lfp. Im a little concerned about weight but pecron has a trolley for the 3600. Im completely new to solar. What should i do? Just tell me please. Im so tired of looking at videos. Im stressed. Lol --tent camping

    Oddly only 2200w in Japan, probably because of the lower voltage. The AC200Max only gives 2000w if you set it to 100v, luckily 110 is "okay" for most things too.

  • @lyfandeth

    13.3vdc, how peculiar is that. Things like "12" volt emergency radio transmitters actually want 13.8vdc, which is normally the lowest voltage a running engine alternator puts out.
    I'd like to see the amp-hour capacity of the internal battery stated more prominently.
    But using the "solar" input as a higher current way to recharge from other dc barry sources, etc. is a really clever workaround. D'uh!
