Thank you for this amazing teaching on forgiveness. I’ve been thinking a lot about forgiveness lately and the process that it takes. Realising that instant forgiveness doesn’t work. I agree with communication and apologising and sometimes this brings a change and sometimes people are too stubborn to receive forgiveness. What Joseph did was very noble and wise. He brought them to a place of repentance in a wise way indeed. And they did repent which was good. What they did was very evil and very sad. One thing that made me sad is he never got to see his mother again as she passed away. How cruel and yet God meant all of what he went through for good. God is the restorer of all things. He can even restore our emotions and give us grace to forgive from the heart and to love again.

Thank you for talking about this. I tried to confront a narcissist lovingly and got so much hate back...as to which I cut off the relationship. The narcissist then says that our relationship ended because I couldn't forgive (but they were never really sorry & don't think they did anything wrong). I think the church is protecting not exposing narcissists by teaching us to forgive them right away.

Sir, thank you for this teaching. Very realistic with the “forgiveness is a choice” “even if I don’t feel it.” While, yes I agree forgiveness is a choice but your heart needs to be aligned with the forgiveness. This made me question is God trying to get me to recognize my own participation in the pain I suffered. Either way I need to be and want to be healed and completely forgive because the anger comes up when I think of the offense. I lord to myself saying I forgave him but again I don’t feel it in my heart.

Brother I just came upon your video about binding and loosing. I was like: finally someone who gets it. It's about church discipline and has nothing to do with demons. I put some additional info about it.
I been telling people about this for many many years.

How do you confront people when they deny and shift blame. Most people don’t own up to what they do and they try to deflect or shift blame. When people are not sorry how do you protect yourself from their repeated offenses?
