Statistics show that many people replay the section at 36:07. I just run this fast left of the rock pile. There may be a slot to the right, but I've never investigated. Beginning at 39:05 I did an S-sweep from right to left. A couple years ago I scouted from the bank and concluded that this was the best line. Previously I just picked my way up the right side, which apparently also can work.
I have a 99 North West North Star Jet boat. One of the reasons I bought it was so I could run the rivers. Do I just go do it or is there some training to go through? I don't want to lose my boat or my life.
There's a class in Hells that happens early each September the past few years. Otherwise, if you can connect with others who have a can-do attitude, that can be very helpful. Generally, if you have good hand-eye coordination and quick reflexes then you have potential. Not everybody is good at everything. Here's a related video ruclips.net/video/TXv5YchCDU4/видео.html
Love the video but, as someone who love the area but has never run it on a boat, you should say the major waypoints/boat launches so I can figure out access to the same areas hiking haha

I run both those lines the same. 6500 really shows the rock in Rollin bar and would not be going over to the Oregon side.
Thanks for the ride!
What a trip, bet was fun.

Make sure you go with another boat. Until you get comfortable. Nw river runners is a club that does many trips. Follow and pay close attention.
That smoke was thick, I ran that a couple years ago and the fire was coming down to the river. Love that place.

The best way to access by hiking: begin in Boise and go north. Turn west at some point.
I enjoy the camera position!
And its stability..
GoPro 8 has software gimbal for stability.
We have ran it around 6k. Very readable.
