A very informative review... the lights you see in the ocean are ships... those waters are pretty busy channels for ships as this region is the only thoroughfare from the West to East. If the flight was during the day you can clearly see the elongated shape of the ships from the window. Once the aircraft passes over Bali to continue further south you will see very few of these lights.
That's a win in my book. I just want space and the least amount of people around me, which that AAX product delivers. Great to see someone else enjoys foreign McDonalds. Thank you for another honest and interesting video.
Trying McDonalds around the world is a must IMO. Obviously not for every meal.. but you need to go and see what different countries have. Like in India, there's no beef so the menu is completely foreign. Thank you for watching and the continued support :)
I got given a tablet that had their IFE loaded when I flew, but it was only for the few in the Lie Flat seating. Maybe you had to ask? Also, I didn’t mind paying for a drink because it keeps the cost low. Air Asia X is the best value business class style to get from Australia to a lot of places in the world including Africa starting November which I’m already booked on!
Wow, Africa is an interesting next destination for them. Hopefully it works out. I didn't see anyone else get a tablet nor did the crew say anything, maybe it's a "if you know" type of deal who knows. I'll ask next time if I fly with D7 again. Thanks for watching :)
Once you're up in the air the toilets are the responsibility of passengers using it. You dont expect the stewardess to check after everyone uses it. This is on all of us.
IFE is the first thing I'd be happy to compromise on. IFE costs quite a lot and maintenance isn't cheap either. Maybe a decent cheap tablet handed out by request would make even more sense.
Absolutely! It makes sense not to have IFE but you're right, a cheap tablet with some pre-loaded content would also be a premium touch. To be honest, I'd still take extra free drinks over IFE though.
@@LeisureFlyer I got unlimited drinks accidentally when flying during Covid times with Finnair, it was a blast. Most people can handle their liquor and it wasn't a problem.
You’re lucky your flight didn’t get rescheduled or cancelled mate, I’m a Malaysian but sorry to say I always avoid this airline at all cost. I rather do transits than take direct flight via AA if they’re the only option, that’s how bad it is IMO
This is a very positive review, but the dated amenities are hardly worth the added cost. The food options and beverages (served in bottles) are dismal! Good to know to avoid this service!
Depends how you look at it I suppose. Personally, I had "low expectations" for the service side of things, but the fact you can get a mostly flat bed on a 9hr flight for this kind of price is still a positive in my opinion. Thank you for watching :)
I think it's a fantastic product, and wish there were more hard products like this without the fancy food/services. If youre on a red eye flight and just want to get a good amount of sleep , then this is a very good value-for-money product. Considering that it can be similarly priced to full-service airlines economy tickets at times

Ah makes sense then! I thought it may have been some type of wind farm / power generating thing or maybe like an oil rig but many of them lol.
Dang, so many ships!

KL has the best harsh borwn I've tasted from any McDonalds around the world, crispy and free of any oil mark on the wrapping paper.

Great Video And Info
Thank you for watching :)
I would appreciate if they have IFE but with paid service like long haul Jetstar…
Also a good option, I'd use that if it was reasonably priced.
Is the fast pass included in flat bed rate
Yes! It was included for me.
Hi, what aircraft did air Asia get from Philippine airlines?
Also A330

I fly AirAsia All the time, and none of my have have been cancelled.
Just depends on your luck, AirAsia is overall a good airline
Air Asia sounds like the Jetstar of Australia
