You too Mr Mike love your videos so much I think that I am addicted. Watch diving in them dumpsters wouldn't want you to get hurt so watch yo head stay safe peace BROTHER
You know there's a lot of other scavengers out there with their programs on RUclips. But I only watch yours and their reason is, you give a great narration to your adventures. And even sometimes you give some verbal special sound effects to your excursions that really enjoy and I'm sure others do too. So keep up the good work and we'll keep on watching.
Mike, thank you for doing the job most don’t care about! I get it, if the government doesn’t care why should we ? (trash is trash 🛢 WRONG!) I see the stuff people get rid of in the dumpsters and I’m shocked. I have recycled all my life and now that I’m a grandma 👵🏻 it hits home harder because what we have messed up our children must suffer with so thank you for caring and your videos are AWESOME like you.
Tag number off the box will probably give you what the rotors belong to . When they are grooved and drilled they are usually expensive ones not the Gina specials .
The red "whole puncher" was actually a binding machine for binding things like books. My folks had a couple of them when they had their business back in the 80s and 90s
Truer words were never spoken about bleeding. I have so many scares on my legs hands and arm some of them involved stitches. Love your content Mike keep doing what you do man.
For everyone who asks what he makes on this or any other load, y'all need to understand that what he's showing is him unloading the bulky shred steel only, the small stuff goes back to the casa for separation into different bins of different metals that then get taken to the scrap yard when he's running out of space, as a result of the method he uses it's nearly impossible to give an accurate account of what each load is money wise.
It never ceases to amaze me how wasteful people are. One group wanting to recycle while someone else throws perfectly good things in the trash. Keep up the good work. You are recycling while making some money for your hard work and providing entertaining videos as well.
Metals and electronics are not the only scrap that has value. PET regrind is closer to 0.80€/kg HDPE scrap 0.15/kg LDPE scrap 0.10€/kg PP scrap 0.10€/kg ABS scrap 0.095€/kg PVC scrap 0.095€/kg HIPS scrap 0.19€/kg PS scrap 0.056€/kg to 0.10€/kg DVD scrap 0.13€/kg Cardboard scrap 0.09€/kg Office Paper scrap 0.05€/kg Used wood pallets are 1€ per unit, and plastic pallets are more expensive.
That was a productive session Mike. Its unbelievable what people throw out but at least people like yourself are both benefiting from it as well as saving our plant. Thank you for all your hard work Mike. Have a great weekend with your wife & pooches Mike. Love from Ireland 🥰
This reminds me. I worked for a printer factory. Parts for the printer came in wooden boxes from Japan. I took 6 a day home in my mini truck. The company loved it. I carpooled with a guy. We filled his garage. On the weekends I would sell them at a flea market. I put hinges on one. They were good size for toy boxes. I painted the one with the hinges. $10 each.
Hey Mike, I'm not even a scrapper but I love your videos. Wish we could see more follow up after your run showcasing your finds/scrap runs, but hey, its all good. Keep it up, good hunting?
Red, white and blue....combine both tapes around poles for Memorial Day, 4th of July and Labor Day decorating. You find the best items for recycling. For the carabines, see if the local school could use them as a giveaway for children to have so they can hang things from their backpacks.
Any chance that you'll start including the scrap totals again? it kind of feels like the videos are missing the ending, and we all know how much people like happy endings.
Scrap RICH Dumpsters again Mike and filling Up Dottie and of we go to the Scrap Yard - always such Pleasure watching You Work - You got the Knack ! Many Cheers from Australia !!!!
Mike-you are such a hard worker! I love your videos-so informational & funny too. That red binding machine is such a great find. I have used one to bind documents into book form, also sheet music-keeps it all together. Unbelievable how much is thrown into the dumpsters-all perfectly good, & some stuff is new in the packaging.
Mike, those carabiner are for keys and possibly hanging curtains etc or light weight items in shops paint booth etc. Good job at keeping this in the material world not the landfill world
Mike. That old radio you found could be the one that you can hear the record on the radio. It broadcasts at a frequency that u can pick up on any radio. I know this is the wrong video but I was so excited I couldn’t find it. Luv y’all.
It's been a while since I watched your videos. I get in a "rhythm" that kinda dictates what I watch. Just wanted to stop by and say you're awesome. Keep up the good fight my dude. Best wishes to you and the fam
Mike that box was for you it was supposed to read "Mike the scavenger" but the other letters must have fallen off. Been watching you for a while and it still amazes me on just how stealthy and quiet you can be. 😂😂😂
Those plastic pallets are fantastic finds , you should have grabbed them and went back next week to see if they had any more. I used them for floor in my storage shed. I stack stuff out in the yard on them, if I need to move it , I tie a rope on my ridding mower and drag it anywhere in the yard. I asked a beer guy behind the grocery store if I could have some of his , he told me hell no, they cost 300$……
Have A Great Weekend, Y'all!
👍

Those plastic pallets at 2:35 will sell between $15-35 on marketplace depending on the grade. Would be a good haul. Go back n get em!
Nice to see some scrap runs lately 😊
Seeing you drop that black iron off at the scrapyard hurt.
Those fiber rods were for sticking in corners of mesh to make pallet box.
Plastic pallets cost 2 or 3 hundred new.
I like Das Boot. Good movie.😊
Good video. Why have you stopped sharing your scrap sale details - how many pounds and how much money you made? That is the interesting part too
Scrappy dappy Doo let's see what they got for me and you have a great day Mike

Im still shocked how much wasted stuff there is in the world. Have a safe weekend, Mike. Love from the UK 🇬🇧
In the UK they are about to start tip mining. All that waste has suddenly become a treasure trove of rare metals and steel ...

And GOO DAWGS!
I like it when you tell us how much you made. Just a quick receipt at the end would suffice. :)

It's been a while since I watched your videos.
I get in a "rhythm" that kinda dictates what I watch.
Just wanted to stop by and say you're awesome. Keep up the good fight my dude. Best wishes to you and the fam
Mike, that long black pipe is most likely used for a gas line or fire sprinkler system.
In my neck of the woods, long black pipe of that length and gauge is often used for scaffold poles.
Mike that box was for you it was supposed to read "Mike the scavenger" but the other letters must have fallen off. Been watching you for a while and it still amazes me on just how stealthy and quiet you can be. 😂😂😂
Funny when carabineers and alan wrenches are the strange things to find in the dumpster! Keep up the good work Mike 💪
جميل

Would like to see more follow up vids on scrap runs. Awesome job MTS keep up the vids.
Lots of good stuff, Mike!
Hello
we use them to hang nets along side conveyors to catch anything that might fall off.
@ 14:51 that was a super nice workbench..... Price that out, if you want a laugh..... Made your whole week right there....
Bingo, what an opentop with lots of the
good. To adapt a famous line from Jaws,
I think you need a bigger box.
Those plastic pallets are fantastic finds , you should have grabbed them and went back next week to see if they had any more. I used them for floor in my storage shed. Love this format.
Dumpster shopping at its best.
All kinds of little goodies in those dumpsters! I hope you made a "fist full of dollars" on this run, Mike. Best wishes to you and the Mrs.!
Great haul Mike ❤❤❤❤
