Hi, Mr. Junichiro , you are no less than a god for making this series. Gotta say I have done some paid courses to learn vex but none of them have explained this well or even come close. I hope to see more things related to Houdini and vex from you. You are a generous man. Thanks, bando.
Outright the best class I’ve never had on Houdini. Even at university! Thank you so much, I was confused with the details of the operations and this shines such a clarity on things, your tutorials are precious!
Excellent! Thank you for putting this together, you are very generous to help out beginning vex learners. Will be looking forward to your future videos.
Perfect Video, I was looking for a video like this to start learning VEX, because some teachers explain to fast. You explain very well and clearly. Keep Doing it! Congrats!
Beautiful. I'm getting started in Houdini, and so far I've found that the only way to really make sense of what is going on, is diving deep into VEX. Thank you so much kind sir!
Thank you very much for making this video. The information is clear and thorough. I've been looking for this type of information for a long time so I have a lot of gratitude for your time. I will be sure to watch all the videos in the series. ありがとうございました!
wholesome. i love how we can all learn from each other regardless of what stage we are at in life. to be human is to be in a constant state of learning! beautiful
Pretty cool tutorials dude! Been watching a few of these now & finally VEX is starting to sink in....slowly. One suggestion, maybe split your Scene View & have the Geometry Spreadsheet at the bottom so it's always on display? Could make things a bit easier to follow for viewers. Alt + E whilst cursor in Scene View...then save as custom desktop...to easy. Keep up the good work. 🤙
I was about to give up on Houdini. No one on Internet taught me VEX like this. You deserve an award for this. You teach VEX in such a clear way. I really appreciate you! Keep up brother, and thank you very very much for your effort 👍👍👍
Some experts say that visual programming is the future (nodes) because visually you can understand (cover) a more complex algorithm. Question to the author of the video: Can I use visual scripting in houdini without VEX and other obsolete programming methods at all or is houdini still dependent on old technologies and visual sciping is not yet fully developed and has limitations?
Your video’s have inspired me to create my own during this quarantine and start a Facebook group: GhPython Script. Please consider joining, your grasshopper scripts and work in python and C# are fantastic!
Hi , awesome video but i have a question and i don't know where to look as i'm new to houdini. I'm analyzing a procedural builder and there is an attribute wrangler that is taking random point and deleting them. can anyone help me understand how it's taking the information to delete or what the 'cutoff' means? here's the expression: if (rand(@ptnum) > ch('cutoff') ) { removepoint(0,@ptnum); } obviously if the cutoff is removed then the code stops working , but i can't seem to find what the cutoff is referring to , does it have information specific to the points it need to delete? if anyone could help me out i'd really appreciate it.
@0:45 bro, arent these elements? or classes? these are not attributes.... attributes are stored on elements. I couldn't continue watching because your language is wrong off the bat
you are teaching so deeply,😍 i have seen so many tutorial, but i felt like your best tut.... you teach easy & simple way i like, you'r teaching very well😍
I have never approached coding. A few months ago I approached the VEX and followed several mentors, with some difficulty on my part. I find your approach very clear and structured. You give me the courage to continue on this path ...... thanks and congratulations.
