- This is a lesson on the solo from Blackberry Smoke’s “One Horse Town.” This is a killer solo in C major/A minor that uses major and minor pentatonics in C and some cool double stops. I am wearing my Proximity Rule shirt for maximum awesomeness. They are an excellent band in the North Mississippi area, and actually cover this song, so be sure to check them out!

Is this the same as what he plays in the "official acoustic video" on their channel? Trying to 100% that version lol.
Extremely clean. I've been playing guitar for years, but never really tackled a solo. This is a good start. You got some quick digits, my friend. You ever play any gigs in Nashville? Or your guys, Proximity Rule? I couldn't find any videos of them
Hey bud! Thanks so much for the kind words. I have done a little picking in Nashville over the years. I am based out of Tupelo, MS…so I am not too far! Blayzewindham@gmail.com is a good way to reach me if I can ever help with anything.
Okay. Thanks. I live closer to Knoxville, but I like to hang out on Broadway sometimes, when I get a weekend off and check out the locals and upcoming. Keep jamming!
Not a good lesson
