@@je-zw5su Ouch sounds like you need to have a talk with your friends! I'm like that too but I've already told my friends that I'm not always comfortable going to parties especially with new people. It was a very short conversation, not awkward at all and they didn't ask a million questions or argue about it, they just accepted me as I am and are very understanding now.
It might or might not go this way for you but you should at least try if you haven't already. It's worth a shot.
If they don't make an effort or try to be more considerate, hopefully you'll make new better friends! If people that you originally like end up making you so stressed there's definitely a problem.

I'm a woman and I was like that towards my ex-crush. I was afraid to trigger him, make him sad, even avoided to converse with men that weren't in his circle because he would ghost me until the next day and act down, posts sad memes and stuff. It was getting real annoying so I just decided to let go
Theres a difference between walking on eggshells and just not caring abt the other side's emotions tho.. I mean some of the stuff in this video were exaggerated and most of it is not a big deal for me personally (if someone asked me if i was on my period while im angry i would get at least 10 times angrier, and i dont like ppl touching my tummy at all bc it makes me extremely ticklish and i cant stand it, i hav a hard time getting thru my yearly doctor examinations bc of it lol.. but i dont care abt the rest), but people hav different boundaries and insecurities and if ur not willing to try and understand that as their significant other then that means ur not doing ur part in the relationship (and obviously its not meant to be like a calculated business relationship but i think u get what i mean).. the point about the period thing wasn't that she is on her period and that she doesn't want u to be direct abt it, its that if she is feeling upset/angry/tired etc. there could be so many other valid reasons other than "oh are you on your period?" as if that's the only reason to be upset bcos you can't possibly have any other problems

out of all these, the period one is the worst.. because it implies that the girl is over exaggerating.. so it's basically devaluing what she is feeling instead of trying to understand why she is upset.. very obnoxious... even though some don't mean it in a bad way, almost every girl becomes even more angry when they hear that.. ;p otherwise everything else is kind of tolerable i guess... no big deal.. about the fat question... i think girls know when they gained weight lol ;p mostly the reason they ask is to see if you like her still... the only important thing is just to ensure her that you like her even when she's gain a little weight... no need to lie..

the worst part about the period thing is that most times the girl is not on her period. Heck, I have a condition which basically has stopped me from getting my period. and I know many other girls that don't get affected or at least tremendously by their period. when I used to have them, I never felt differently except for slight pain (I never used to get painful periods). it's such an assumption, and just a stupid excuse for men to not acknowledge a person. imagine if they had an equivalent.
please stop making up excuses i feel this and this you literally over exaggerating right now , it's true 9 times out of 10 im right when i ask that , even if they deny it usually they admit to it afterward when they calm down !
its even more accurate when you know her well , plus it's a fact that girls get emotional on their periods, they are literally emotional 90% of the time without periods , it's not devaluing your fee feee but it's implies that you can't think straight when you are emotional and would over react to everything , it doesn't imply anything else !

Well different girls react differently on when they have their periods. There are girls who get really sensitive just because it's uncomfortable or it hurts. And there are others who don't get sensitive a lot. They might be a bit bothered and prefer staying in on the first day. And they all have different preferences on what they'd like their BF to do for them if the boys want to comfort their girls. Still, being insensitive or attributing a certain behaviour to period days and being really obnoxious about it is just asking for a world of hurt. So boys who avoid behavior like that are the smart ones. If you have a girlfriend and she's having a period day, just be understanding and ask her how you can help. That way you might earn brownie points.
The hair part is sooo true for curly girls; takes a lot of time and effort to make ourhair look good and neat, one careless stroke is enough to make our head look like a bird nest. lol

Me and Ho-Seung would not get along, I have a really bad swearing habit- it's normal here since I'm raised in rural Australia lol. Most our sentences contain curses compared to city folk and their more uh- nicer way of talking.
Not to mention, my town is very very wine based and we're also very known for being sketchy- in like the drugs and illegal things so like-

Touching The hair made me think of The annoyance when my dad swiped a spot on my face where The foundation/concealer was a thick spot commenting that It was. Like he thought he Fixed something. He Ruined something. It Was thick on purpose to cover something that looked worse than a visible dab of concealer. This was most annoying as we were standing in Puplic on line in a store and me having no make-up with me so I could fix it.
Or my sister unbuttoning some of the buttons on my cardigan ”because It would look better” and me having to hastily button It again as It WAS BUTTONED FOR A PURPOSE. Only waynit didn’t roll/slide of my shoulders.
In short, SAY don’t touch. If It It something I actually wanna fix I’ll do It myself don’t just assume you know better.

I don't like it when I get petted on the head. For me, it feels condescending. Like I'm a little kid or a dog. I'm neither. The belly rub used to bother me, like, are you saying I'm fat? That I need to lose weight? But now I'm ok with it since my husband says he loves my belly.

I do not like my hair touched, ghosting, and I am not always comfortable having my face touched. Although, pinching cheeks is not really common in the west. I always thought it was strange when the guys in Korean dramas would pat the female love interest' head. In America that is something that you do to a small child. Like, when you tell them they've been a good boy or girl. Culturally, it is just uncomfortable to me seeing that in the dramas, especially when watching the early 2000's dramas when it was popular for the females in the show to frequently overuse aegyo and act like they were 4 or something. That was strange and off-putting too for my friends and I.

The one cardinal sin we guys know best is that messing up a woman’s hair is the worst thing you can do. If you say the wrong thing you’ll get a lecture, if you say or even insinuate that she gained weight she’ll get sad, but if you mess up her hair (or in some cases if you touch it at all) you lose a hand.

i don't know if it's a cultural thing but I'm Brazilian, so many of those things do not apply here, first things about Brazilian people, we are very familiar with everyone , and very much comfortable with skin contact even with people we are meeting for the first time, like hugs and cheeky kisses, hand shakes, this is what it means to be educated in right social behavior here, now imagine the intimacy with people we know hahaha, all in all we are very open to new things and people and very welcoming, many people from other Nations when they first visit here they find it very strange that we are like this with physical contact with anybody, also we are very sincere about things to say, much more than any outside people i've met in my life, many times people think we are just rude, lol it's just the hot tropical way of Brazil
