😂😂 as stated iny last comment I own this figure too and love this dude but unfortunately I had lost all his accessories, while watching this review I had the urge to look for his bag of accessories just one more time (I had given up as I had looked multiple times before this) and low and behold I found the freaking bag of accessories 😂😆😂 bro I literally can't believe it lol thanks Hatter. The plastic swords are to use without the slash effects. The metal swords are to use with the slash effects because they are too heavy to use with the plastic swords and will break them. You will have to use various stands to prop him up if you want to use the slash effects. He should hold up fine just the plastic swords, though. You can tell that this figure was heavily designed with posing for photography in mind. The hat was designed to stay on the head if you can just figure out how to do it.
Hatter, the straw hat centre unplugs (leaving a hole in the top of the hat) you then plug the ears back in through the hole to keep the hat locked on. I’ve had this on pre order for almost 2 years from BBTS.. still waiting! 😅
A bit of trivia for Kensai. It's another way of spelling Kensei which is an honorary title given to a highly skilled warrior in Japanese culture. So Kensai. The nameless one is his description.
I've been eyeing this figure for a little while now. Thanks for the review. I thought he would pair better with the Autumn/Spring..etc turtles, but it doesn't look like that will be the case.
To me goes better with NECA 1990 Movie TMNT Turtles:) if that helps. Still big rabbit samurai guy, but that line seems to fit in with Furay better IMH0:)
@skewraider Definitely! I would also consider the Lingjihun turtles. They're a bit pricey though. I was really hoping they would debut around the $80 price point.
Hatter, your the third review ( he has been available for awhile) I have watched. I really wanted him as the mask options and samurai load out with other accessories drew me. His sculpt looked visceral and inspired. The execution is where I cancelled my order. The loose joints, the weapon effects flop his arms down, and as seen in your review parts either do not afix right (straw hat) or do not function as they should. The company was very ambitious. I give them due for the artistry and vision. The final model was lacking. At best its a pose it and hope nothing happens to it..gravity or just about anything. Glue or joint tightening tricks are your aids. Is it an action figure then? Thank you for caring enough to make a video. Sometimes simple is satisfying. Like the Simpsons line or the Sonic line. I do purchase some import action figures. The not Rorscharch was a favorite. Your resourceful I bet you can make him haunt the halls🦹✌️
i asked NECA for a replacement arm for my tmnt 1990 casey jones with bycicle because the arm was broken in packaging and they came to my house broke my arm took it, and i found it in the mail a week later, with a REPLACEMENT tag on it.
They started with a Leatherhead alt, now a Usagi alt. I preordered this a while back from BBTS. I had to get an alternate head. This guy looks too aggressive to work as Usagi. In the Wang/Tiger figure they introduce this guy's daughter. The tiger adopts her. These FuRAy Planet comics are very dark and grim. Sad stuff happens in them.
Weak/looose joints. Can't stand for shit. Can't hold his weapons with the effects. Removing parts is a pain and the head joint sucks. Looks amazing and the comic is awesome if you get the English version. But just too much unnecessarily bad choices

I've had a lot of enjoyment and frustration with this figure. Very fiddly to pose it perfectly. The hyaena they have shown looks intriguing.

Isn't the hat stuck on with magnets, so you he may just need to flip the magnet inside the hat. At the moment the polarity is causing it to float.
@ it’s not magnets, the sticker is a cushion of sorts to avoid paint rub. The ears are meant to lock the head on.
If these guys happen to make 4 Kappa that use a bow staff, sai, nunchucks, and kitanas I think we'll know who they got inspiration from
