I have had chronic back pain for over 20 years due to injury. Really focusing on building and painting models is one of the only things that helps me relax and forget about the pain. It's weird, but it works.
I love these videos! Honestly you seem like such a down to earth person and I genuinely enjoy hearing your insight on things. Snacks be damned, ( don’t get me wrong, they were great) id watch a part 3!
The budget question is a good one! I personally set a hobby budget based on past spending on the hobby. If it's not set based on that, I find that it's more or less arbitrary and may not take into account your other financial goals. In short, pick a number that helps you achieve your other financial goals while actually allowing you to catch the releases you actually want.
Finger crossed for a new AMA but here it goes: - What kind of quality do you look into the most when reviewing a kit: its articulation? Aesthetics/color accuracy? Or the building process? - Is there any past review that you felt like you did not justified properly, as in you might have over praise or criticized too harsh on certain kit. - How would you introduce gunpla as a hobby to a group of people that dont have experience in plastic models nor watch any gundam series? I have noticed the increase of people who want to try out gunpla but are overwhelmed by the choices even when there’s EG available. - Aside from plamo review, are you planning to make other kinds of review content or livestreams? like somekinds of game livestream or whatnot Nevertheless, I really enjoyed your reviews for god knows how long i have been watching, that not only helps me to decide which plamo i would want but just a generally nice to watch and listen, keep up the amazing work man!
I'm not a huge fan of the Barbatos but I think the MG deserves recognition. I was quite 'shocked' you didn't mention it, but I'm aware you answered shortly and those were the ones that probably popped in your head. PS: I've also been in local bands (singer and songwriter) from when I was 19 to 24. Did you write the music in the band or you were just playing the bass?
If you do a part 3, I've got a question: I got back into gunpla a few months ago after a long hiatus (10+yrs) and find myself in need of organizing my quickly accumulating tools and supplies. I've been mainly looking at Arttystation and Hobbyzone, both have things I like and dislike. Do you have anyone feedback on one or both of those? Or, is there another brand you'd suggest looking at? Thanks.
I’ll go ahead and say I’ve only used Hobbyzone. Afaik they’re the original. Putting the things together takes some time, and they can be more expensive, but I’m happy with them. I personally also prefer the design of Hobbyzone. But I’ve only heard good things about Arrtystation so I don’t think you’d be unhappy with either
@@ZakuAurelius Thanks for the input. I've been going back and forth with the two. AS seems to be more easily available in the US and with much cheaper shipping. Also I like the design of the paint drawers a bit more. But, I like the overall designs of the HZ modules as well as the variety the have. Unfortunately, shipping costs as much as 1-2 modules
For the Custom Mecha Musume if you want it to look nice, you need to cut a lot of parts to fit the proportions of the girl because normaly he gunpla is to big/wide to fit the proportions, but most poeple just use the gunpla parts as it is, so it looks off. But I'm sure you have the skills to do a good looking one.
Is it really worth buying different tacos instead of buying the cheapest one? You can get in painting at different colors so it just looks like the other zakus
How long does it usually take to ship orders from USAGS? It’s been 5 days since I placed mine and still no tracking or shipped notification. Nothing was a pre-order or back order item either, they were all in stock.
If this is going to turn into a food channel. Or worse yet. A ' watch you eat ' channel. I want my money back. Or give you suggestions on what to expect from other food channels. Like mine nuke the top five food channel network. Where guests come on , before being nuked. And give their recipes for lentil, or split pea soup, with or without rice, preferably a good Indian rice, others tend to be too sticky, even if olive oil or some other cheap alternative for grease, or falafel with or without humus. 😝

so when's the new contest?
We’ll probably announce the next one in July after the current one is finished
@@ZakuAurelius wait... there's an on-going contest? Just asking in case I missed it.
In the fight question I think mechagaikotsu would win. Have you seen that dudes biceps???? He's shredded!
Yo what's with mechagaikotsu hate? Am I missing something?

I did indeed! just a few months ago
