It’s an obstacle to create tension between Bellamy with the two most important women in his life , Clarke and Octavia . It’s also an obstacle used to inevitably bring Bellamy and Clarke together . It happens constantly in love stories . If anything him getting with echo just pushed Bellarke closer to being canon . If he woulda got with raven that woulda lowered the chances .
