Look. I do a lot of things poorly in life. But whistling isn't one of them. I promised you guys I would do a cover of the Edge of Dawn when I hit 65k twitter followers, so here it is. I have other covers in mind, and this is not the way I thought I was going to go with it, but it was stuck in my head this way for days and I just needed to film it. So here you go! Thank you SO MUCH for all your support on Twitter, Twitch, RUclips - all of it. You're all fantastic, and this one is for you.
Acoustic covers of video game music are a kind of specialty of mine - you might know me as XPRTNovice from OverClocked Remix. But as the voice of claude, I felt obligated to give you guys a musical arrangement of Edge of Dawn. I hope you enjoy this!

Nils from FE7 was of the bard class, which was like dancer or singer, but without the ability to attack at all. So more like the Heron class from FE9 and 10.
There was a bard class in FE 4 but it was just a mage I think

Honestly though this has such a calm vibe, I’m imagining an evening scene with Claude and Byleth looking out into the sunset from Garreg Mach Monastery.
Subtle lower jaw movement. It's how I learned to do it on flute.
I play flute too and vibrato is very subtle when blowing out air

I can imagine Claude playing and whistling this song post time skip against a wall on the terrace at the third floor of Garreg Mach as he swims through the memories he made with the friends he's now fighting against. Great video, Joe! You aren't just a voice actor we love, you are a fan just like us and you're happy producing content for us and for this series we all love, and that makes us happy too. I love it when people create little pieces of greatness like this video or any other you've made on three houses. You're overflowing with creativity and that really inspires me! Bananaz I love that thought, Claude on the roof of Garreg Mach at like 3 am when everyone is asleep, and Byleth over hears him at this time because he’s doing some church work late that night, so he checks out what’s going, he sees Claude doing this and just sits next to him. They have some conversation about the world that was left after the war, about the friends they lost in the war, and they just sit there in silence for awhile, Byleth goes back to work and Claude just kinda leaves. The school wakes up the next morning, new student, and Claude is a professor, Byleth the arch bishop. Who the other professors are I really wouldn’t know, but they would be there.
I know Claude left at the end, but I like to think he returns eventually.

Story time:
So back when 3 houses was released I asked my dad if we could go get it (I had some spare money to do so). So I went to go get it with my Grandma, which made it kinda special to me. So fast forward to February, My Grandma sadly passed away 3 days after this video was released. Now that I think about this, this song, Fire Emblem, and you're connection to the franchise, I thank you for helping me past those hard times even though I doubt you'll see this comment, but still thank you.

MR. ZIEJA!! I need to inform you, my whole life I’ve wanted to whistle but couldn’t, no matter how hard I tried. This is beautiful and made me really sad about my inability to whistle so I thought “aw, heck, i’ll give it a try right now, it can’t hurt” So I looked up some whistling tips and gave it a try anD I DiD A WHISTLE??
