It was a great spot! Sorry that we didn’t meet, but I was definitely in awe of the people in tents in the Texas heat lol. Hope your fishing endeavors were fruitful:-). Safe travels!
We Park Hosted at this park, and I can promise you the waterside restrooms were spotless during the months of November-March. They struggle with getting volunteers during the summer months, but we Winter Texans from up north love to volunteer at Goose Island. It's a beautiful park. Glad you will be coming back.
I absolutely loved staying there, ESPECIALLY on the water ❤️ I could see how it would be a little more difficult to find the summer volunteers for sure. I expect the bathrooms near the sand/water will not be pristine but that wouldn’t be a deal breaker for me at all anyway. I love being near the water, and I LOVED that pier 😍
Another great video! We plan to visit the coast after we’ve had time to become familiar with our Casita (that hasn’t been built yet). We’re down to two and a half months now!
Has the pier been rebuilt? I was there June of 2019 and it still had not been rebuilt. And I think my son and I had that same spot in the trees/bushes. We liked it but glad I packed the yardguard/camp fogger. Do you remember the sight number?
Hi there :-). Yes the pier was rebuilt and wonderful ❤️ Oh goodness yes on the wooded area spot. I can imagine how that spot could be just right for the mosquitoes! The site number for the wooded area was #105.
The very last frame is AWESOME!!👍🤓
Thank you! That was actually my favorite part! It was gorgeous in person ❤️
That’s a beautiful spot for relaxing and fishing. I was in the blue tent a couple of spots down from you😀

Hey Tiny Texan! Your videos make me want it to run out and GO in my Casita every time. So peaceful and beautiful there!
Ha! DO IT! I definitely would’ve stayed longer if they weren’t so booked this time of year.
