I saw a college acapella choir sing this song, it was amazing. A mezzo girl sang John’s vocal part, the sopranos did his guitar part and the baritone boys did the bassline… they were soooo good. The sopranos sounded like an angel’s choir and the boys didn’t have any words, they just went “da-da-da-da” for the bassline, slides and all. I wish I could have recorded it.
Beautiful song of John Lennon of White Album and yes in the Real Life: Ringo he didnt play drum in the song and Back In The USSR because Ringo was in trouble with the band at the time
Would love to hear more like band versions of all the Beatles song I absolutely love that you get to hear dear prudence the non-feed out version which is great I even love the non-feed out version of the Walmart guitar gently weeps it is fantastic. Being a huge Beatles fan and I am I love how this song for the next and this is really great
Dear Prudence. Won’t you come out to play. Dear Prudence. Greet the brand new day. The sun is up. The sky is blue. It’s beautiful and so are you. Dear Prudence. Won’t you come out to play. Dear Prudence. Open up your eyes. Dear Prudence. See the sunny sky. The wind is low The birds will sing. You are part of everything. Dear Prudence. Open up your eyes. Look around round round round round round round round. Look around round round round round round round round. Look around. Dear Prudence. Let me see you smile. Dear Prudence. Like a little child. The cloud will be a daisy chain. So let me see you smile again. Dear Prudence. Let me see you smile. Dear Prudence. Oh won’t you come out to play. Dear Prudence. A-greet the brand new day. The sun is up. The sky is blue. It’s beautiful and so are you. Dear Prudence. Won’t you come out to play.
2024 comment and yeah watching old Pawn Stars videos where they're pitched millions of dollars for an original Beatles contract with Brian Epstein. All I gotta say is imagine a cheap remake with the same notes for all instruments on the PC for those who own Bluetooth version/Loop Hero/Ebay/Amazon rebought old xbox/Wii/ps3/ETC instruments. With a little branding it could be extremely profitable. I know it'll never happen, but the fact the Guitar Hero era was so popular it gave us these games along with a Metallica dedicated one is so insane looking back. I'm so grateful even as a late 20's YO man. It introduced me to much so much music, and learning new instruments. I would pay anything to play a modern version of version of these games because it simply means updating the fucking background graphics. It could be timeless because the gameplay loop is so perfect to this day. I'm going to buy this right now.
@@snowrb agreed. Also, it's worth noting Yoko was absent in this clip. It's true Paul's bossiness was the "final trigger" for Ringo taking a sabbatical while this song was recorded, Yoko's constant presence in the sessions was also a contributing factor. Just 12 months earlier it was Cynthia in the studio, along with Maurine, Patti, and Jane, all at the height of Sgt Peppers going gang busters. One year later the dynamic had changed a lot and Yoko took a lot of getting used to.
Yo I just realized, Ringo's bass drum has a giant wool sweater just like in real life when they wanted to amplify the bass drums sound.
Nevermind not really accurate just realized Ringo didn't play drums for Dear Prudence lol
@@CoolioTops Yeah at first I thought it was Ringo, did not think it was Paul
@@AverageKingBooEnjoyer It was Paul in the Drum
But do you think the game would remove one of them tho
Prudence Farrow once said this song was one of the greatest gifts she ever received and that she didn’t deserve it at all.
Man, I want to give her a hug.
Not to be that guy but, source? I honestly want to know the history.

What do you mean in trouble with the band
@@caminator324 Complications of peer relationships and Egos

From 3:24 to the end it's Ringo , when he came back he added some fills.
no he left temporarily because of the constant bickering tf are you talking about?
BEST music group in my opinion
It’s not an opinion, it’s a FACT

Excelente!!
My favorite Paul's bassline
Arguably his best in the entire Beatle's catalogue - matched perhaps by Come Together or Rain.
the whole reason why i looked up this video! i wanted to fully appreciate his bassline
@@MarsFireballCharge yes! Same! This Baseline is sick asf!
Something comes close
real brave of you to pick guitar for this song
I know right
Good
Play the video at 2X speed it sounds great
x1 sounds way better
I honestly expected more psychedelic visuals for this one.
But Paul played drums on Dear Prudence.
I think in the video game they didn’t want to make it seem that they didn’t have that little split during the white album.

Yea but they can’t have two Pauls on screen, you can’t play bass and drums at once
