Absolutely agreed. That was what mostly disappointed me. At the very least ryan or butcher should have played as him in the game to show us what it would look like instead of showing us two characters we've already seen.

It would have been really cool to have the Tek Knight suit in the background in the Tek Cave, even if they didn't have the budget to use it in the show.
Tek Knight story in the comics was pretty funny. His problem with self control gave us many hilarious situations much better fitting Amazon's incarnation of the Boys if used properly. This Tek Knight was rather a callback to 50 shades of Grey :p
The weirdest thing for me is that Ashley didn't really do anything to Hughie. She just... Tickled him. I was expecting way way waaaay worse things for him, and from her, like she would penetrate him or something
I actually have unfinished business with you mf. How come for the past couple years with job applications no matter how many I filled I haven’t heard a call back? ANSWER ME!
I mean ngl when they killed him i was so sad we might never get to see the suit but we might see Ladio take up the mantle. Honestly i wish we got to see more people in super suits rather than just '' The 7 '', In a world where superheroes exist we rarely see any, even if its extras in costumes.
I feel like I'm okay with not seeing the Batman side of things. We have been lacking a Bruce Wayne style character which is surprising that he died so quick. We already have (had) Black Noir to be a dark knight crime level vigilante character on the seven. It is upsetting that we have not seen an Iron Man style character on the boys. It's surprising in a world of geniuses and soups that no one has been a big inventor yet.
Tek Knight has lesser versions of both Homelander's super senses and Sage's super intelligence so it would've been amazing to see him pitted against them, perhaps as a supe that is far from virtuous but at least trying not to be the most evil person in the room.
This scene was so disgusting I feel like there is no point in having this in the show or at least not as much of it like what was the point we get it he’s a weirdo and he’s rich
This episode legit made me feel scared for Hughie even though I knew he was going to make it out alive. Seems like they took a page out of Slipknot's Disasterpiece
I don't accept that they couldn't do the suit. There's cosplayers going around in Hulkbuster suits they made in a 3D Printer. The Boys surely could have put together a half decent Tek Cave and a prop Tek Suit. Heck I bet some fans would have made it for free if asked just for the thrill of having their work in the show.
I think the reason why his “death” was so lame for viewers is because, I don’t think he’s really dead.. if we know anything about the Boys they love to show gruesome deaths and to leave a death on almost a “cliffhanger” makes me believe they have more plans for his character.. I highly doubt we will see his suit, because of budget reasons.. but that doesn’t mean there’s some underlying reason to keep him alive to help the “Sup uprising” It’s very unlikely he is actually dead because the viewers didn’t see his death and the person who raised him (his Alfred) is the one who is supposedly killing him and telling the Boys to leave, so he could save him from the Boys by basically faking his death..
Having never read the comics I always wondered why gas was called “Tek Knight” when something more related to his inductive powers seemed more logical.
I would’ve at least liked to see a cosplay version on display somewhere in his mansion. I’m sure they could conure something up for about $250 and just put it behind a glass.
I think of it like when lex Luther in the justice league animated show goes to change to his suit to confront darkseid but it’s just a business suit and calls that his “power suit”
I felt like Tek Knight should’ve has a way bigger impact on the story than dying with under like 10 min screentime. He would’ve been a rlly funny yet scary character to be around as he has incredible investigative abilities
Didnt dissapoint me, stuff changes when making screen adaptations. Amazon didnt kill local malls, the people who order from Amazon rather than going to the mall did.
A entire episode happening on one location, focusing more in humiliating white men and homelander unable to hear the gunshot (it doesnt matter if it have a silencer) while being in the SAME HOUSE where the shot happened... What a lazy stupid episode.
boys universe have very high potential imagine if we get good cgi fights of homelander so we can see the real powers supes are capable of. just bcz of their low budget bs we rarerly see fights and its suppose to be a superhero series and even if we do get a fight its just not that satisfactory just look at soldier boy vs homelander two strongest supes couldnt even break a house
Im disappointed how Tek Knight is adapted to be a full on degenerate parody of Batman, instead of a heroic mishmash of Iron Man and Batman like in the comics.
TBH, they brought in a supe who is arguably the most smartest person on planet (a smart person would never claim that) and made them a joke and then a character who was built on quite nicely was absolutely destroyed.
As someone who read the comics, I was fine with not seeing the suit. Don’t get me wrong, it would’ve been awesome. I was more looking forward to seeing how they would handle Tek Knights hole obsession. And it didn’t disappoint
The Sherlock Holms take in the show was a lot cooler to me than the comic version granted they couldve called him by another name leaving tek Knight for later or out completely
this idea is too late to think but they could've just made him like a cosplay suit, and for the fight scenes, just something as choreographed as the other fight scenes as for rockets, and flight, not sure, could've made him fly like Stormfront did or somethin
why do yall care tho, they already stated they weren’t going with some comic elements so yall shouldn’t be mad at this, i mean c’mon the episode wasn’t bad at all, you jus want him to be like his comic counterpart
I'm not disappointed at all, it was quite interesting without the suit, bit disappointed with the three first episodes of the show, but after the 4th episode the season really started to kick off, we do need something similar to the Homelander and queen Maeve plane scene from season 1 to make things a bit more interesting again.
Yea dude, I have to agree. This was lackluster. Actually this whole season is lackluster. Eric kripke described it as "more introspective" which I hope serves a prelude to a better fifth and final season. They have to end it with a bang.
I think they could have at least set it up as a prop in the background even if he doesnt use it. Still i personally dont care cause i understand its a budget thing
I think there is another reason than budget: The technology just may not exist in the show universe. In comic, there is also a helicarrier style base for the seven, which is not in the show

@@user-de1nz1tl6o It's incredibly easy to write that off as lies. Most supes in the Boys aren't exactly honest by any means.
@@randomhandle111 no because in Gen V he was shown to intimidate multiple characters and he wasn't presented as one of vought fake mascot heroes he was actually competent. I'm guessing because Eric Kripke is a hack who can't write he didn't even watch Gen V.
In the hit series, Tek-Knight is a prick, insane, and disgusting supe. Man what a way to waste a good character! It was so cheap written, that they've only made it for shits and laughs. Really dissapointed!
Absolutely agreed. That was what mostly disappointed me.
At the very least ryan or butcher should have played as him in the game to show us what it would look like instead of showing us two characters we've already seen.
Out of 8 ep 6 was released, just wait
I don't need the show to be brain dead endless action like marvel but I do wish we got a smidge more action and brutal face offs in this show. Just a little.
Hughie is very sensitive about his feet
Tf you mean
She literally comes in Hughie's face
📝BOO! Did i scare you? I'm a job application.
NNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
AAAAAAAAAH
Omori pfp
I actually have unfinished business with you mf. How come for the past couple years with job applications no matter how many I filled I haven’t heard a call back? ANSWER ME!
Maybe he isn’t actually dead? We didn’t see him get killed necessarily
Firecracker confirmed to Homelander that he is dead
The Cope is insane
@@_Yombo RIP
I mean ngl when they killed him i was so sad we might never get to see the suit but we might see Ladio take up the mantle. Honestly i wish we got to see more people in super suits rather than just '' The 7 '', In a world where superheroes exist we rarely see any, even if its extras in costumes.
They could use practical robotic suit like Fallout TV Seried
I feel like I'm okay with not seeing the Batman side of things. We have been lacking a Bruce Wayne style character which is surprising that he died so quick. We already have (had) Black Noir to be a dark knight crime level vigilante character on the seven. It is upsetting that we have not seen an Iron Man style character on the boys. It's surprising in a world of geniuses and soups that no one has been a big inventor yet.
''NO NOT THOSE PEOPLE'' 💀💀
imagine Laddio takes over the mantle as Tek Knight
Tek Knight has lesser versions of both Homelander's super senses and Sage's super intelligence so it would've been amazing to see him pitted against them, perhaps as a supe that is far from virtuous but at least trying not to be the most evil person in the room.
If you described this Tek Knight to people who haven’t seen it. They’d think this is the comics version because of how absurdly depraved he is.
This scene was so disgusting I feel like there is no point in having this in the show or at least not as much of it like what was the point we get it he’s a weirdo and he’s rich
Him not having a suit was a massive drawback..
They could of at least shown you the suit in the cave
I highly doubt we will see his suit, because of budget reasons.. but that doesn’t mean there’s some underlying reason to keep him alive to help the “Sup uprising”
It’s very unlikely he is actually dead because the viewers didn’t see his death and the person who raised him (his Alfred) is the one who is supposedly killing him and telling the Boys to leave, so he could save him from the Boys by basically faking his death..
Fifty Shades of Trek. 🤣
Love hearing HOME in the background!
I felt like Tek Knight should’ve has a way bigger impact on the story than dying with under like 10 min screentime. He would’ve been a rlly funny yet scary character to be around as he has incredible investigative abilities
Maby we'll see Vought auctioning it off in the future?
Losing my local mall ≠ Tek Knight armor suits in my Amazon Prime shows
0:20 "WHERE IS MY SUPERSUIT?!"
They could've at least released sketches of what it couldve looked like
I don't really care, but I guess it could have been nice to at least see it as a static prop in the cave, akin to Iron Man's armour showcase thing
AYYY THATS MY COMMENT! I’m Famous!!!! Yay 🥳 🙌 🎉
I suspect that Tek Knight is still alive, I mean he "died" off screen. Not befitting of a character dying on The Boys.
Can’t wait for y’all to see episode 7…. Idk what happened to this show
boys universe have very high potential imagine if we get good cgi fights of homelander so we can see the real powers supes are capable of. just bcz of their low budget bs we rarerly see fights and its suppose to be a superhero series and even if we do get a fight its just not that satisfactory just look at soldier boy vs homelander two strongest supes couldnt even break a house
Im disappointed how Tek Knight is adapted to be a full on degenerate parody of Batman, instead of a heroic mishmash of Iron Man and Batman like in the comics.
I would’ve loved to see his suit just shown in a painting/picture or displayed in his cave.
Real tek knight is the gimp.
I think that guy in red suit gonna wear that suit maybe in last season.
This season hasn’t been terrible imo. Just ridiculously over the top with NSFW scenes.
They should show something even if it was only in movie trailer and not actually used
I dont care about the suit. Could have made him less of a joke though
Look if you not gonna show him in the full suit in action dont use him
Omfg i wrote it wrong lol 😂
TBH, they brought in a supe who is arguably the most smartest person on planet (a smart person would never claim that) and made them a joke and then a character who was built on quite nicely was absolutely destroyed.
Lil thing called budget
As someone who read the comics, I was fine with not seeing the suit. Don’t get me wrong, it would’ve been awesome. I was more looking forward to seeing how they would handle Tek Knights hole obsession. And it didn’t disappoint
I just wish they put on the helm in the game
The Sherlock Holms take in the show was a lot cooler to me than the comic version granted they couldve called him by another name leaving tek Knight for later or out completely
this idea is too late to think but they could've just made him like a cosplay suit, and for the fight scenes, just something as choreographed as the other fight scenes
as for rockets, and flight, not sure, could've made him fly like Stormfront did or somethin
Are we sure he is dead? I was wondering if the faithful butler actually saved him.
Tek Night doesn't have a suit the comics don't matter. MM is a supe in the comic, he's not on the series
This dungeon part was made so ppl would say "so dark, weird". Something pointless but would make the show not to the likes marvel or dc
, it was very funny that when parodying Batman-ironman with his suits, he had a sadistic sex suit instead haha , it didn't need any budget.
I respect how disappointing it must have been for fans of the original source material, but I'll admit that I personally really didn't care.
I thought it was awesome, this is my bruce wayne head-canon from now on
Who are you to talk in my name lol
He's a rich white Man of course they doing everything to disrespect him.
This Season is just a dissapointmend
im happy
why do yall care tho, they already stated they weren’t going with some comic elements so yall shouldn’t be mad at this, i mean c’mon the episode wasn’t bad at all, you jus want him to be like his comic counterpart
But I wasn't disappointed
It's about homelander death
I'm not disappointed at all, it was quite interesting without the suit, bit disappointed with the three first episodes of the show, but after the 4th episode the season really started to kick off, we do need something similar to the Homelander and queen Maeve plane scene from season 1 to make things a bit more interesting again.
Good video
Yea dude, I have to agree. This was lackluster. Actually this whole season is lackluster.
Eric kripke described it as "more introspective" which I hope serves a prelude to a better fifth and final season.
They have to end it with a bang.
I hate how now in The Boys every character has to have some fetish. It feels so forced.
They made a hero or at least he was, to something real shit
I think they could have at least set it up as a prop in the background even if he doesnt use it. Still i personally dont care cause i understand its a budget thing
Nah, I refuse to believe that adding a prop to the background will put a major dent in the budget
This is Amazon. What budget issue do they have?
I think there is another reason than budget: The technology just may not exist in the show universe. In comic, there is also a helicarrier style base for the seven, which is not in the show
Well then have the suits abilities all be a lie just to sell toys and merchandise.
