When this song was charting in the early 90s I was so in love with someone I couldn't be with and I remember it came on the radio while i was driving and I had to stop and listen, choking back the tears. Still gets to me now in 2023.
It was so many years ago, but a young lady still has a place in my heart, and she'll always live there as a memory. Love sometimes just isn't enough. One of my biggest regrets.
