People who didn’t live in America before 9/11 will never understand the ignorant bliss we lived in. No cell phones, just living in every moment of every day.
Exactly but there were cell ohones before 911 lol I graduated in. 2000 not phones like now but cell phones were out my junior year some kids had them and going to NY before 911 that is what is truly missed ...I loved the limelight sound factory club usa exit twilo vinyl....
"The Tunnel" was definitely a Mad house. LOL. when certain songs came on.... U better believe that someone was gonna get Robbed. and the Bouncers were assholes!!! I miss those days.... 🤣🤣😂😂😂😂
The bouncers would rob you as well...you had to make sure if you came with cash or jewelry you left it outside in your car or hide it in the bushes before you went it because the security/bouncers you to rob niggas too
Versus is about being hype bottom line and you are probably right especially in his prime. Energy wise..... And I'm talking energy I can wait decades for someone to comment who could out do Busta.
You gonna talk about your chips 'til we run in your crib And you gone ask dumb questions like, "Can I live?" Look, If I shoot you, I'm famous If you shoot me, you're brainless, you said it yourself I'm slick enough to twist your lines and send them back at you Swift enough to snatch the MAC and pop that at you
I cant believe they never show anything about Friday and Saturday nights at the Tunnel. It was the craziest rave scene I was ever a part of which I was no stranger to between what at the time was Carbon up on 56th street and Sound Factory and the Octagon. But Friday at the Tunnel it got jumping around 3 am didnt close until 12 pm or so. One entrance got you in to the world biggest gay dance party called Curfew. It was 15 bucks to get in that side of the Tunnel 20 bucks to get in on the straight side. It was an open air drug market. I was a fan of candy flipping acid + xtc with some special k. I used tog et in the shower at 1 am and my mom would be like wtf are you doing? Id say getting ready for the club. Buts its 1am. I know mom it doesnt get poppin until 3 am. Upstairs in the tunnel were the S&M bondage dungeon and the unisex bathrooms and another little lounge right at the top of the stairs. Main floor is what you are seeing on this video. There were huge empty bird cages on the main floor that I would be occasionally be dancing with a drag inside of. The basement on Fridays and Saturday at the tunnel played hip hop. I'm so glad it closed in the giuliani years because my body couldnt handle the drugs anymore I went every friday and saturday for years even if I went alone.

At the Tunnel you came out in t shirts, no ice and couple extra security on stage - just to watch the crowd like they CCTV and part of the crew.
