It's amazing to me the level of talent that was around in the 60s-70s. Stevie Wonder, Zep, Stones, Beatles, Elton John, Sabbath, Deep Purple, Tower of Power, Ohio Players, Sly and the Family Stone, Al Green, Marvin Gaye, Temptations, Michael Jackson, Rush, Grand Funk Railroad ..... What a blast of talent we experienced, getting spoiled in the process. Not even a fraction of that talent today. We were truly blessed.

We have the Lord above, but Stevie Wonder is the Lord of music here on earth. He always Jams He wrote this song for Bob Marley, Jammin to the name of the Lord!!!! Amen!!!!!!!!
I was 9 when this came out, listened to a lot of Stevie as a kid, and if anyone wants to know who came up with all the best grooves and riffs, youre listening to him. A superbly talented musician.
Absolutely, my favourite. More into blues and hard rock myself, but this song really made my "introduction" to reggae. Such sweet memories form (over) 40 years ago!!
Saw Mr. Wonder back in 1972 from the 6th row. Sir Duke is his masterpiece. Actually met Mr. Marley. I have a hard time selecting his masterpiece. Stevie thinks 'Jammin' is from the Exodus LP. I think Natural Mystic is right up there. It was also on Exodus ('77), but was actually recorded as a faster version with Marley & Lee Perry in 1971. Check out anything from Bob's mentor, Lee Perry. He was the true alien from outer space. He just returned home last year. Concrete Jungle is another worthy candidate. Here's Judy Mowatt's version: ruclips.net/video/iqiTFYrXHFw/видео.html
I just watch the Clark sisters movie on lifetime and You brought the sunshine was made from this song ..........I know Stevie was excited to see them use his cords in this......awesome song.
was listening to pandora at work and good lord i thought it was about "blasting" of another type from the title 😅 what a gifted man and such a beautiful song
The Clark Sisters' movie brought me here. I've loved their YOU BROUGHT THE SUNSHINE for years and never associated it with this classic! Beautifully done...💜💜💜 04/12/2020 #Quarantine2020
I was 8 years old when this was released, and remember my mother playing this song back then. Even though 40 years have passed, this song still sounds wicked in 2020 😊😊😊
I'm just happy that I share the same zodiac as this legendary unforgettable greatness thank u Brothers Bob Marley and Stevland Morris aka Stevie Wonder
It's my 40th birthday sitting on the couch sipping Henneey relaxing. This song makes me feel like I should do some blow and sky dive on my 45th birthday.
I remember Master Blaster from the 1970s, which was hit song when I returned from fighting in South Vietnam, and me and family went to Cuba for a tour of duty. The 8 clubs played that song, and all of Steveie Wonders song. Since Cuba is close to Jamaica (10-15 minutes by air), Bob Marley and the Whalers, Peter Tosh, and other Jamacian bands ,his band visited frequently.
For those that didnt know, This song is about Bob Marley, Stevie named him the Master Blaster and wrote this song dedicating it to him.
Didnt know that
Nice!
Abdiel C, Oh yeah probably because Bob Marley had passed away around the same time.
Did not know that, good looking out, thank you, learn something new every day

Everyone's feeling pretty

Though the world's full of problems
They couldn't touch us even if they tried
From the park I hear rhythms

On the corner at the end of the block

Would be jammin' until the break of dawn
I bet nobody ever told you that you
Would be jammin' until the break of dawn
You would be jammin' and jammin' and jammin', jam on
They want us to join their fighting
But our answer today
Is to let all our worries
Like the breeze through our fingers slip away
Peace has come to Zimbabwe
Third World's right on the one
Now's the time for celebration
'Cause we've only just begun

Well as matter of fact
I can say that I'm ecstatic
'Cause we all just made a pact
We've agreed to get together

Nobody told you Oh, Oh, Oh, you
Would be jammin' until the break of dawn
I bet you if someone approached you
Yesterday to tell you that you would be jammin' you would not believe it

This is what this youngsters are missing this days, real talent.
Totally agree with you here, and i'm a youngster with appreciation for these types of music
You know it! 😉
The best from the oldies...Stevie's true masterpiece...

I haven`t heard this in decades. It really takes me back.
Still Jamming today. Absolutely brilliant song from Stevie Wonder.
Proof that we see with our heart better then with our eyes!
This man proves with every. Rhythm and music that a so call handy cap can be a great blesses thank God for such a gift to all of us.
Don't need anyone or anything to get me here! Mr Wonder does that all by himself
