DAVE & STEVIE.
I think family sounds a lot better and makes everyone feel equal and as important as everyone else.
Hi to all the team at D&J
just wanted to say a huge THANK YOU to every member of the company
We came to you with a rough idea of what we wanted and you turned it into a reality
Cannot thank you enough
A pleasure to do business with you and we will be coming back for more keep up with the good work
I think you should refer to your team as the D&J family, treat your team like family and they will work for you and the D&J business better, harder and give you loyalty and respect. If I lived in the Nottingham area, I would of applied for the job! But I live in Suffolk.
Ant is an animal, you can tell how much work he does by his clothes.
It’s nice that you refer to your employees as team. You are a good coach and it would seem your team is dedicated to working together. You can see you and Stevie carry your weight which in turn makes a team not a boss employee relationship 😊
D&J Family, is the way forward
Looks like a bloody big Hornet 🐝 Stevie 🫣🫣🫣
When you clicked your fingers for the grass bags, did you pick the customer up, as he disappeared aswell lol
You wanna be happy your not working in the rain forest ☔ ☔ and more rain ☔ and when it's not raining your sweeting 😊
That bug is I believe a African Hornet. Good thing you were not stung.
D&J Family. All the time. W ay you may ask it sound much better.
Yessss to the music @8:21 bit of metal dubstep!
Nice
Steve, that bug is a "UK Wood Hornet" and they are not generally considered to be harmful. Cheers!
Got to be a Hornet....Great vid guys
Good job D&J Projects. It looks like you found a Murder Hornet. Nasty looking things they are.
Pretty sure that insect is a hornet. Top vid as always.
Looks like a hornet Steve.
Quality work as always guys 👍🏼
I thought Papa Smurf was raking out the Tarmac 😂😂
More of a family than team. Very evident that Big Dave cares about the guys and gals. Like the way he gives advice to Finn about laying the artificial grass - teaching rather than telling. Fair play big man 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
They are all more like family. The best bunch of lads and lasses I have
seen all working together.
Late comment on this video - but I agree with you about having a work team or family as in my experience employees are people who work for a company but remain faceless to management which certainly isn't the case at D&J Projects
Not too shabby!
I worked for an american company and we were called Associates and we had Leaders instead of managers. It was actually pretty cool and funny how
a little thing like that made you feel valued
🙂I like the word team, cus if you all don't work as a team, the company would be a mess. And I love that you all know how to do someone elses job, so when one is sick, you can rotate and still get jobs done 🤩
The big job now finished and it looks amazing 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
The fencing job also looks really good 👌🏻
Very good job done all-round to the team D&j🙂👌🏻
Where is Chelsea, haven't seen here for a while now, not even a glims of the pink West 😄😉
When you clicked your fingers to collect the grass bags I think you accidentally picked the bloke up in the background also. 😂
Fab episode. Looking forward to Wednesday already 😂
Some good looking ones this week(to be fair all things D&J touch always look tip top. Looking forward to meeting the new D&J legend once they are on board.
Iv always seen D&J as a TEAM never as you (Dave) and the employees, you treat them more then that 👊👏. Stevie and Ant 💪👏 well done on that fence install, started off ok then got to the back and boy you both proper put a shift in digging and putting them BIG post in 💪👏 smashed it, amazing how much a fence at the perfect height has a massive impact! Wow 😮, just WOW!!! What a transformation the D&J team has done on that garden, fencing, shed base, patio and the drive, oh not to forget the gates 😍 it’s perfect 👍 the Team has really worked hard on that, give yourself’s a pat on the back 👌🙌💪👏👏👏👏 looks stunning!!!!!! Well until Wednesday (can’t wait for this drive) take care and don’t work to hard 💪👍!!!!
Enjoyable video dave stevie and boys, tarmac conclusion looks really good and the fencing project stevie and ant looks tremendous .
Always smile when I see a carbon absorbing lawn get replaced with quarry products and plastic. And I’m not even an eco warrior 😂
Hi d&j Project It is very nice two job u have done! I really enjoyed watching your video on Sunday after i come back from work too! I can't wait to see your new job on the big driveway on Wednesday now!😊👷♂️👍
Loving the new livery black fleet night rider fleet
D & J Crew.
hey Stevie another cracking job and video once again....that insect is a "wood wasp" the big stinger is not a stinger it's a tube it user to push into the wood to lay it's eggs.
keep up the good work and footage at D&J 😉
also buddy on the job you did with the hottub last week, the big plants you wanted to know what they were...."cordylines" they are called buddy 😉
One big family dave sounds a lot better mate
Nice jobs guys well done the drive way and fencing job looks great and the tarmac drive looks brill. Hope you all got dry with all that rain .
Another fantastic video 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
That light hanging down in the truck Dave please push it in it looks like a light but whatever ,😂and then you explained it as I was writing 😂
Again, absolutely amazing job on the tarmac, fencing and turf jobs!!!❤❤❤❤ I think is wonderful that you cross train the guys so that they can learn all the positions of the company!!! Smart fellows! God Bless you ALL❤❤❤❤
I’d put a big fence up as well, if I lived next door to Dave 😂
Dave it is really nice that you call your employees as a team / family yous all stick together and work really hard and Stevie that fencing job you done looks really nice yous guys smashed it even in the rain and the drive way job what has been completed looks amazing the slabs look beautiful great work guys and Stevie you done a beautiful job in cutting the edging on the slabs on that job can’t wait to see the big job yous are doing keep up the wounderful work lads and ladies. And keep safe and well.
Good job on that drive team, artificial turf is a marmite i dont like it but each to there own, its a hornet stevie they are a real menace. Good team you have got . Shout out to Quinn.
More great work from D&J Team 👍👍
Brilliant vlog lots of great content yes Dave you have a really good team you are a fantastic leader the oldies 👋🤗👍👍🤗👋
Outstanding bunch of projects this week guys! Don’t know which was my favourite. Now, Dave, I do understand what you mean about how you refer to the folks that work for/with you. But I don’t think you can call them “family” - that’s more about how you treat them as opposed to what you call them. I think within the business it has to be ‘teammate’ or ‘colleague’.
I didn't know they had manufactured housing in GB?!!? (artificial turf job).
You guys are hard workers and craftsmen. Well done!
Team sounds better then employee
Top team another good video jobs looked good but definitely think real grass looks better than artificial
Good afternoon Team D&J and all subs.
That fencing job looked a killer, but as always you guys smashed it and now looks amazing , bet the customer is well chuffed.
Beautiful people, beautiful Jobs, perfection. It was a lucky day I found D&J. Thanks team. 😀💚
We are lucky we have you :)
Hi to all at d&j,sorry im a day late,so i would say either saying part of the d&j team or family is fine as although they are employees it sounds more caring, great job on the tarmac driveway and the black ice just finishes it off nicely,i loved the time and effort on the artificial grass install with the help of finn but when you were using the brush i felt it was to powerful as seened to lift the grass up but thats just my opinion but looked good at the end, good to see stevie and Azni doing a cracking job on boyh fencing jobs🤟awesome episode as always guys🙂👍
Nice week guys very productive good luck with the new guy I was going to say my son is looking for work but forgot.
Must admit you have a good working Team at D&J. Everyone seems happy and let's not forget the Ladies.
Great job guys
Brilliant job guys🎉
Its fat Friday time guys 😊
Mason has my best wishes for a full and speedy recovery.
Just found this channel , love the videos great job 👏
Not 2 shabby.
A team works together an employee dont give a toss. You got a team because without a team you dont have a good company because the team make the buisiness. IMHO. The wasp looked like the giant wood wasp? Great video btw.
Great job lads. Well done.
Thanks 👍
Great work from every one and an entertaining video keep them coming
Great video again great content all your work is top class love watching all your videos
Bug looks like a giant horntail lads
we use a non woven fabric comes in 4.5m widths for weed suppressant, also lay artificial grass on granite dust nowadays, tend to advise 35mm multi layer multicolour as not much different in price, but horses for courses, It's hard work, we do all sorts, fencing, scaping but also kitchens carpentry plumbing etc, not so easy at 60 lol, be interesting to see some subscribers pics of works and areas Keep it up :)
Great work lads!
Definitely a hornet. Possibly a European Hornet . Big aren’t they 😂
That’s a hornet 🐝
Dave, you certainly have grown with family and I think your team. And letting the guys grow and gain experience to jump into any job that's needed ,you can't do much better than that. Well done all.X
Huge graft on that fencing job and a lot of care too near that retaining wall. Looked brilliant when finished. Those slabs looked like an expensive Kandla Grey porcelain when wet, another great job
D and J employee vs team or family???? It’s D and J family for me!
Loved, loved, loved this weeks episode. Great variety, and you guys smashed that fencing job and artificial grass install.
💯 excellent 👌🏻
Excellent episode, brilliant jobs. What about getting a work tent to cover from the rain and sun, with boards to stop the mud? I know this is pretty basic and I’m sure you have used these - but they would pay for themselves in a few weeks in saved time 👍👍👍👍
Those fencing jobs are not done by fencers. they are done by skilled , meticulous craftsmen.
Great video great team very entertaining
Great results achieved on those jobs . Team D&J all the way 💪👍
Bug is called a Wood Wasp...and they are harmless
Great job, am sure all the homeowners are trilled as well, thanks for sharing.
I love the tarmac videos wish we had smelly vision.did you know there's a song called a flick of the finger!
Enjoyable video, you all smashed it again. The insect looks like a Hornet, a dangerous beasty.
Thanks for entertaining us in Retford.
Love from Lindsey and John.
lend me those clicks fingers. I've got a six DIY bay this weekend.
Asian hornet with deadly sting identified in the UK, possible it could be this Stevie…. Great video as per usual and top work 🎉🎉
Love it love it love it great episode big D drive looks brilliant the fencing job looks brilliant the artificial grass looks brilliant what more can I say, you and your team are brilliant, looking forward to seeing the start of your next drive but I know it’s going to end up looking brilliant, have I said enough brilliant if not this episode was brilliant, keep up the brilliant work boys and girls
I've been catching up on videos again.
The insect Stevie found is a harmless female Giant horntail (Urocerus gigas).
Common names are horntails and woodwasps. Horntails are stingless wasps. Adult wasps have a hornlike spine at the tip of their abdomen, and females have an ovipositor for laying eggs.
The whole driveway & patio finish looks brilliant, great job guys 👏🏾
Damn that fencing job was intense, I wouldn't have trusted that wall 🤦🏾♂️
Great video D&J
Nice to see that everyone having a change of job rolls learning new skill, loved watching Jordan on the grab while Father & Son grafting laying the Tarmac.😂❤👍🏻
Proper and I mean proper PUKKA work, and the fact that you're taking and teaching your whole team on projects as you go is so cool
Great stuff fella's
Well this certainly flowed well, new projects and finishing off, great to watch. The driveway looked amazing, as with the fencing and turf, this should generate work!
the bug looks like a Hornet
I vote family ❤
Looking forward to seeing you Wednesday on Drive way project 👍
Nice! ❤
A treat of a video with multiple jobs going down. The next one is a mammoth job can’t wait to see that one next week. Well done team D&J 😊
Another fab video Dave they are family they are loyal hard and hardworking love that Stevie and yourself take time with them when doing something new xx
