    When I was a teacher in AK, passing through Anchorage to check-in, the first thing I did was bring the kumu gangee to L&L in da mall ~ grindz was GOOD! ;)

    I have trouble w/da English sentence structure! Also,I studdered too,had to stay afta school for special speech lessons & later in college ,voice /speech training! I have a habit of putting my words or saying my words,backwards,than expected in English sentence structure! Thank you for this explanation,now I no feel too abnormal!

      Norman, Andy's latest platform at Twitch.tv/andybumatai is different, but grammar is included, so is grandma. Try come sometime, it's LIVE at 6am HST, 9am Pacific or just catch da reruns.

    Loved this video. I'm watching every day now. I appreciated the sentence structure lesson. I'm new to Pidgin and I love the stuff that really digs into the language -- grammar, vocab, that kind of thing.

    Well said Mike in Alaska. There is a lot of Hawaiians in Alaska. I used to be one of dem. I lived in Anchorage for about 10 years and have choke 'ohana up dea. I love this Pidgin English Sentence Structure video. Sending you lots of Aloha. Keep up da great work ♥

    Mahalo for da good fun edumakashun. I wen take da firs "Hawaii Pidgin and Creole English" course at UH long time ago, and I wen learn "adjective-noun" stay actually Hawaiian sentence strukcha. Das why we say "Cute, da baby!" and all da kine sentences you wen explain. (Japanese use dis strukcha too in convasation.) Also one adjective used like one noun as in "Ho, da nice!" or "Ho, da good fun!" stay Hawaiian gramma. You always make stuff easy for undastan. Mean, your lesson, and ho, da funny!

    Thank you for these videos. My granddaughter is Hapa Haole, and we live in Tennessee though she is visiting Family in Hawaii right now. I need to learn pidgin without a southern accent!

    Hey Brudda Andy: I need help! Coming back to Molokai in May for my 50th class reunion and I gotta make sure I know what my classmates are saying without me asking them to break it down. I don't want to ack stupid! So far some of it is coming back but I know I going make A! Ha! Ha!

    Eh, Andy! No fo'get, different islands get different kine usage. Plus, Pidgin get different kine "music", da sentence sung different dan on da mainland (even get different "music" in da different accents. Azz why hahd foa catch da meaning.....
