The Drake Maye era begins 10/9/2024

Do the New England Patriots coaching staff have any clue what they're doing? That Pats/Dolphins game was bad. Are the Texans going to not only destroy the Pats,but Maye as well? Jabrill Peppers could learn a thing or two from Tony. The MLB playoffs are just fantastic baseball to watch. Swayman is signed, the Bruins could have used him for their opener. It's not just the Celtics starting five who have something to prove this year. The Knicks & the Wolves who won the trade and what does this mean for the Celtics.

I never understood the Mayo promotion in the 1st place. He was a positional coach... not even a defensive coordinatior. Let alone has he any experience running an offense. And van Pelt as the OC also hasnt proven he can implement good offenses so far. Just look at Mayfield with the Bucks and then look at him under van Pelts leadership in Cleveland.
Drake Maye is in the worst position behind a bad O-Line with no good running game or targets to throw to right now... The Pats should stay with Brissett, loose as much as possible and get another top pic to bring in more talent and use the next draft and free agency to fix the O-Line and skill positions. Throwing in Maye right now will help noone in my opinion.
