watched this video when i started saving for my 200sx and it got me so excited, now that i have my own, driving it is so great and so different to any car i had driven before 10/10 would recommend if thinking about getting one :)
Seriously man, i dont know how many times i have seen this video over and over again. Great driving, sounds perfect. Such a pity that those cars are expensive as shix in spain and on top of that insurance doesnt like no one younder than 30 years to drive anything...
+fwijffels Yeah, I have watched all your videos regarding the s13. Man, I hope I can buy one in the near future. Driving a 64 horsepower diesel fabia all day isn't the best driving experience. Thanks for the response.
Toyota Supra and Nissan 200sx are probably two best cars in my opinion. Skylines are great too, but RWD rocks:) Can't wait until I can afford one of them :l
SmoothAsButter SN. Yeah, the GT-R's + GTS-4's are actually way more rare than the RWD ones.. And as far as the R32 GT-R goes, RWD is a matter of flipping the switch (if you have it). I'm hoping to own a R33 GTS-T one day, it's pretty well available here where I live from 7-15k € so it's in my reach one day definitely
I wish our country roads (UK) were that smooth. In the last maybe 10 years they have been left to decay and they are now full of pot holes. Some of them are dangerous to drive on over 40mph because they are so bad :(
@@ToreDL87 The thing was the 350/370 Z models shrunk in size compared to the 300 ZX. The interior became that much tighter than 200/240/180 SX models. Those over 6 feet tall would have a tough time fitting inside the 350/370 Z much less driving it compared to the aforementioned SX models.
nice video man ! i found one with 238k miles full stock no rust 100% clean s13 with ca18det and im looking to go for it ! what do you think? the price is around 7000 euros.
I don't know where you live, but 7000 seems pretty high, even though it appears to be in good shape. If it's full stock and looks clean (check for shitty 'repair' jobs) it still has quite a lot miles on it. On the other hand.. a nice stock S13 is pretty rare, so definitely try to get your hands on this thing!
+fwijffels i live in Greece ! cars like this and in that condition are rare AF ! i have seen the car and its full stock no exhaust no aftermarket wheels and ! the only thing it worries me are the miles that it has ! im not a racer and it will be my first car so i dont want any tunes on it maybe in the future but not now
I`ve been saving for one for pretty long time but my dad wants me to get a boring family car. Don`t know what to do, clean S13 are going to run out at some point.
Ahmet Emin Kaya It's a 3" decat, nothing special really. But it flows good and sounds wicked haha My microphone is just really bad so it sounds weird in this video
use big toe lil toe, instead of heel and toe just put the left of ur foot on the brake and blip the throotle with the right of ur foot, i understand ur pain i also couldnt do it hehe
i think im going to collect money to buy one in the future. may i have some suggestion on what engine should i get and what do i need to take care of when i get one ? im just going to run it on stock or maybe going to put some turbo in it.
+Andreas ræmmen There is no actual reason to SR20 swap it. People do it because "JDM as fuck" and shit, but the difference is so small that it is not worth the swap. With a CA18DET you can easily make the same power and if you maintain it and keep a close watch on your oil level it is more reliable (because no VVT etc). And if you have a KA24, I dont even know where to start to tell you to NOT swap it for a smaller engine. KA's make a lot more power, a lot easier. Normal turbo swap gives you 300+ whp. You need to push the limits of the SR20 a lot more to get to 300whp.
+fwijffels Maybe CAs are fine in Europe where the 200SX was originally sold with them, but in America CA parts are much harder to find, and options are pretty limited and tend to be expensive when you do find what you need. SRs are much greater in popularity here. Many aftermarket retail stores offer plenty of SR parts and you have several brand options for the same parts. Also, the S13 SR20 did not have VVT, and it definitely takes more work and money to make a CA get as much power as an SR. As far as KAs go, the single cam is terrible, and even though there is a dual cam, the engine was never meant to be sporty. Both the CA and SR will rev higher and were meant to be sporty. There's a reason why the JDM S13 got the CA and SR but not the KA. Keeping it makes the most sense for a daily where part availability needs to be high and cost needs to be low. Putting a turbo on the KA won't immediately give you 300 hp either. It will need plenty of supporting mods.
How's the fuel economy? I'm looking forward to buy 200sx as a daily, about $3.200 (poland) the specs says it's 7.5l on highway up to 11l in city what's fine enough, but I've seen people talking about much higher mileage
Depends on how you drive. The CA drives really smooth and with stock turbo spools nice and quickly, so it's very addictive to drive faster as usual. On average I use around 7,5-8km per liter. So that's around 420km on 55 liters of fuel. If I try really hard I can get 10 km per liter, but it's just agonising to drive like a granny if you have a fun car.
Thanks, I just like sitting close to the steering wheel. I now have a spacer in between my steering wheel and column. I'm 1,85m and can slide the seat back a lot so no problem for tall people.

Nissan made a big mistake discontinuing this generation of the 180, 200, 240 SX models.
