Im new to editing in final cut pro but did discover that you can apply the effect to multiple clips at once by Selecting a clip in the timeline that has the effect applied , then choose Edit > Copy (or press Command-C). Select all the clips you want to apply the attributes, then choose Edit > Paste Attributes (or press Shift-Command-V). I hope this helps❤
