Very nice job fixing her up Cliff 👌
Cheers Eric, I'm glad I had no more red paint, the black looks cool 👍
Happens to most of us 😂 Sturdy model though. Nice repair.
Thanks Jim, if you're not crashing you're not flying as they say 👍😁
You lucky sod. Got away light with that. Still it will fly again. It makes a nice sound doesn’t it. ❤
You got that right Nick 👍
Sorry to see your beautiful Hunter come a cropper, Cliff... but I honestly think it now looks so much better after the fettling! Bravo, Sir!
Thanks Gina, every cloud and all that 🤔👍
Cliff that was a modification not a repair. Crazy Eddy likes the paint scheme. Zoom zoom zoom Jeff in LA USA
Cheers Jeff 👍
Repairs Have Made the Plane Look Dazzeling Great work. Looks Great!
Thanks a lot Don 👍
misleading that. There should have been a reference in your title to RC Hawker Hunter .A nice aircraft the Hawker Hunter
Thanks Ian, sorted 👍🙂
Your wife wasn't home when you did the spraying? 😀
Shhh, with two doors between us and an open window she was none the wiser Tim 😁👍
@@CliffHarveyRCPlanes I guess my wife has a keener sense of smell that yours. I would never get away with it 😀
@@timtheplaneman I think I only got away with it because she's caught a cold!
Build, crash, repair, repeat as they say 🤔
Cliff that is a gorgeous model. Pretty darn quick too! One of the things that took some getting used to for me with EDF's was the timing of my pattern. They get out there quick, judging speed and orientation gets tricky. Great repair. Who'd a thunk it...Cliff Harvey is a jet jock!
Thanks Adam, I think you summed that up pretty well, cheers 👍
That survived amazingly well, no doubt because of your excellent building!
More luck really Bob but thanks for the thought 👍
Aww there's a shame it had that little bit of damage!! But you built it well Cliff, it was flying amazing and i bet it's already repaired 😀👍
Yes, thanks Ian all fixed 🙂👍
Was great flying Cliff, shame you hit the dirt, but the black nose looks great. Ready for another day 🫡
Yes, all good again 🙂👍
You did build it like a tank. It probably could have plowed the whole field with only minor scratches. The fixing is also part of the fun and she does look great with the black nose. Thx for sharing!
You're so right Andrew, thanks for watching, cheers 👍
Balsa flies better...Balsa crashes better...and it repairs better. I like the repair paint job better than the original! Great airplane!
Thanks Ken 🙂👍
LOVELY repair (think it looks better to be honest than the original design).
I think you're right Mark 👍
Hi Cliff, Could of been far worse but at lest all in one piece.
I think lady luck was on my side Darren 🙂👍
I had an out of field landing with my P40 Warhawk the other day. I was having too much fun and ran out of battery power just as I was about to land. Bob Barlow filmed it but so far is saving my blushes, even though I told him I was ok with it as its all part of the fun!
Absolutely Bob, is your timer too quiet to hear? 🤔
No it isnt but I was zooming about at full throttle for most of the flight and as I was about to turn into the downwind leg, I had loss of power so I quickly raised the gear and stayed into wind and belly landed into a ploughed field. No damage luckily. Just a bruised ego!!
You were very lucky that there was so little damage done, she looks great and raring to fly again. One comment, surely you have to remove the masking tape in the reverse order, not the same, as it was applied.
I see what you're saying Tony and you're correct but in this particular case it doesn't really matter because the tape is so thin by pulling it off in any order worked ok as seen at 13:05 and 13:22, one was over and the other under, just be sure to pull the tape back on itself and away, thanks for commenting, cheers
@@CliffHarveyRCPlanes Thanks.
