I am beginning to question the hype of Chat GPT. To be fair, I asked the same simple mathematical question to Chat GPT and DeepSeek,
"A heavy smoker can made 1 whole new cigarette from 3 cigarette butts. He has 11 cigarette butts. So, how many new cigarettes can he make?"
Chat GPT's answer was wrong, but DeepSeek's was correct. Furthermore, DeepSeek provided me with its reasonings on how it arrived at the final answer.
Chat GDP has a long way to catch up with DeepSeek.
