I remember hearing Oxygene when it was first released and I was about 7 or 8 years old; since then he has both inspired me to play keyboards and compose my own music, plus he has provided me with a lifetime of listening pleasure. Hi Allen - thank you for your comments... I'm really glad you are still enjoying the track this much. When I created this cover version / remix I had no idea how popular it was going to be or how it was going to affect the whole direction of my RUclips channel... but here we are, not even a year later, >20,000 views on this track alone and (very) close to 100,000+ views on the channel... its incredible how one piece of music that I remember listeneing too repeatidly as a child, some 35+ years ago, continues to shape and affect my whole world... this month I celebrate 30 years of synths and there is no doubt why I got into these wonderful instruments - in one word = Jarre ! But there is a whole world of music out there, and I deliberately cover a few songs that Im sure 99% of people may never have heard of... why, because I want others people to discover new artists too. So I am happy to take you suggestion of the AvB track and add it to my list of tracks to remix... now I just have to find that inner inspiration that makes all these tracks happen ! Hi Allen - thank you for your comments... I'm really glad you are still enjoying the track this much. When I created this cover version / remix I had no idea how popular it was going to be or how it was going to affect the whole direction of my RUclips channel... but here we are, not even a year later, >20,000 views on this track alone and (very) close to 100,000+ views on the channel... its incredible how one piece of music that I remember listeneing too repeatidly as a child, some 35+ years ago, continues to shape and affect my whole world... this month I celebrate 30 years of synths and there is no doubt why I got into these wonderful instruments - in one word = Jarre !
But there is a whole world of music out there, and I deliberately cover a few songs that Im sure 99% of people may never have heard of... why, because I want others people to discover new artists too. So I am happy to take you suggestion of the AvB track and add it to my list of tracks to remix... now I just have to find that inner inspiration that makes all these tracks happen ! Thanks Tim, I really appreciate your positive comments - I'm still re-learning my techniques and adapting to new methods of workflow and the current audio-video technology and software (after taking a long break from making music and mixing).
