Seems the only way you can help someone in that situation is to start videoing on your phone as you approach them so it's clear they were already down before you got to them....then if it's a geniune case you don't need to worry but if they are trying to scam you you've got evidence to prove you weren't even there when they fell....bit sad though that people are like this in real life....
