I played for a long long while not knowing shit about support, so now no matter what I do I always get the best possible support precentage AND tags mixing all colors no matter the battle characters.

In general, try always to build your support on the 4 stars step-ups, especially the ones with the good tags, because they’re easier to upgrade and hyperboost, unlike the bfs and exs, the 3 stars units is also easier to hyperboost but don’t give the same percentage so the 4 stars step-ups are the best choice, of course you may need to use bfs in some support such as the zone support, but in regular support i don’t recommend it because it will take alot of time to upgrade them, and its hard to reach 170% and above with bfs and exs in your support unless you’re a 🐳🐳 then go for it
For intermediate players yes this is good advice but for new players where resources are very scarce and it just costs too much to boost them and upgrade skills, using 2 and 3* units of those colors is most definitely the way to go 💯
yeah sure as a beginner you don’t have the luxury to choose the specific support that you want, use the support that you can afford and while you're building your support keep that idea of 4 stars step-ups in mind @@Dexteriityx
Can I ask why the runner tag isn’t as useful? For context I’m running G5 and Fr Shanks, trying to get the zoan tag currently, but I wanted to know why runner wouldn’t be ideal for these two. I feel like the initial bar increase is huge for G5 to fill up the bar as fast as possible
I mean it depends on how you play. For example for units who recover a ton of HP like Wano Marco, Coby and even Cracker that extra HP goes a long way. Plus it has that special trait where if you cap a treasure the gauge increases 30%, so if you have a defender who fills the gauge past 100% it well end up being 180%. That's kinda crazy. The extra HP on the runner tag also helps me survive getting 2 tapped by the Stun + skill 1 from Roger. Like Roman says is a very niche tag but is also one of my favorites.
Pretty much what rMachete said. It’s simply more niche and specialized for specific units. If you’re a PURE runner then it’s good. And those few runners that have the flag charged up a bit after capping it (it’s a trait just look for it on kaku cp9 trait 1) But in general defender and attacker do a lot more for a lot more units!
My support tags are zoan + new world + Attack + Animal kingdom . rocking Ex roger runner . insane power ⚡️. Im starting defending support project ,what tags I should activate?
During the anniversary usually you can pickup an extra ~400ish diamonds depending on how generous. Might be a little less might be a little more. But between all the grindable stuff and the stream rewards it should come out to about that.
This depends on current meta and what character you are using. If you're using a green unit it wouldnt be so bad to use grandline since there's not many red characters in the meta atm. Attacker usually will opt for new world while runner/defenders normally would go for something like grandline. This does come down to character specifics tho!

For defender, Zoan and grandline are optimal. Sometimes navy depending on what defender you’re playing
