Our Innovation Hub is a multi-purpose space where learners are equipped with skills needed to thrive in an ever-changing future.
Whether it is critical thinking, problem-solving, Coding, creativity and more - our learners attain these skills through world-class tools and apps.
Each year, learners complete a Project-Based Learning activity (popular in many countries around the world) that challenges them to think critically about real-world problems and encourages learners to come up with innovative solutions to these problems. The project combines digital technology tools with in-person, real-world projects.
In this flashback video, learners created city models during e-Learning with Mr Frankie Cilliers - comparing polluted parts to non-polluted parts in a city. Apart from exploring solutions like renewable energy, learners also investigated possible economic factors that contributed to pollution in urban areas.
The digital aspect of the activity introduced learners to app development (UI and UX) where they showcased their solutions and aimed to raise awareness around urban pollution through apps they developed collaboratively.
