Frankly, I don't know if you really understood the message that Dimash wanted to convey in this video. His intention is to make us reflect on the effects of war and how valuable life is. Dimash wants to make the world aware of the danger of blindly following those leaders who only seek their personal benefit. For me, this is a masterpiece, either in the script, the filming, the location, the acting and of course his wonderful voice and musical composition, which by the way, is an autograph work of Dimash, which took him 3 years to complete. A work of the highest musical and artistic quality, worthy of the best singer in the world

With the arrival of this video Dimash became more than "just a singer" but a global icon for peace and world unity. Completely self funded by Dimash himself it took 400 people to bring this to life with Dimash not just writing the music but also the screen play and acting the main role which he acknowledged took a great deal out of him emotionally. Following it's release Dimash was appointed UN Goodwill Ambassador for migration and Goodwill Ambassador for the Congress of World Religions, the only person appointed to the role who wasn't a religious leader. He was listed as one of the 500 most influential Muslims in the world and asked to speak at numerous projects. His speech on The Ethics of Peace at the Central Asia Media Forum was very powerful and after his speech against Racism for the Peace One Day Foundation he gave his permission for this video to be used by them to promote global peace. You may think it's strange for Dimash to perform this in English? You yourself speak in English throughout your reactions for exactly the same reason, because you know more people will understand you and you will reach a wider audience. Kazakh is not a global language, it's not even spoken by every Kazakh due to being controlled by Russia for so long. Dimash has actually set up his own foundation for the promotion of the Kazakh language. When he's in his own country he speaks in Kazakh but when he's giving concerts or interviews abroad he speaks primarily in English.

The video shows once again that Dimash is an absolute genius. In composing, in singing but also as an actor and as a storyteller. The powerful message conveyed by this video is more relevant today than ever. I think this video is mostly about the message. This message however, is for the first time more important than his vocal abilities. His voice is just the tool in this video. But simply unbelievable. His singing is indescribable and I don’t have the words to express it adequately. But it is only the mediator of what this video is about. This is so heartbreaking and sad and an awesome masterpiece. Pure goosebumps. You probably have to see it more than once to understand it. He worked on this composition for three years and also wrote the screenplay. The premiere was on September 24, 2022. As some have mentioned, this video should be seen by many people. It may be very brutal for some. But let’s not forget that for many, including children, this is everyday life in some countries. And Dimash relentlessly shows us how ugly war is. During his concerts he always tells the audience he loves all people in every country. He visited so many different counties with his concerts and he realized that there are no bad nations (only bad governments). And OMG he is such a phenomenal actor. Dimash was the little boy who was drowning in the beginning and he gave the necklace to his childhood friend (and future leader) and the girl. The girl on the beach was his future wife. She was pregnant and in the end of the video she gave birth to her and Dimashs' (character) second child. The littel girl who was shot was Dimashs and her first daughter. When he came home and saw his daughter dead on the ground, he had to assume that his wife and unborn child were also killed. Desperation and maybe revenge has led him to kill his former friend. When I first saw the video, I was shocked. I didn't think he was going to shoot his friend. But in the end that all made sense. Dimash wanted to show what revenge can do. Violence always breeds violence, and because of this, not only is the leader dead, but so is Dimash. It was so heartbreaking to see Dimash drown at the end. Dimash in the last sequence of the video was the baby that was born and now as a grown man unites people of different nationalities and religions for peace.
