New Jersey Transit, the country's third largest transportation agency, uses KinkySharyo's light rail cars for northern New Jersey (Primarily, Newark and through Jersey City, Bayonne and Hoboken) and southern New Jersey (Camden, Trenton and in-between).
The Siemens cars made their debut in 2022. Not 2008. Brookville was 2022 also. Only 5 S700 are currently in service. The rest are being prepared for service.
@@brickitect420 Phoenix, Arizona is known for having a relatively high occurrence of thunderstorms, particularly during the monsoon season which generally runs from mid-June to late September. There are several factors that contribute to this phenomenon. One of the main reasons is the region's location and topography. Phoenix is situated in the Sonoran Desert, which is characterized by hot, dry conditions and a lack of moisture. However, during the monsoon season, a shift in wind patterns can bring in moist air from the Gulf of Mexico and the Gulf of California. This moist air can collide with the hot, dry air over the desert, creating instability in the atmosphere and leading to thunderstorm development. Another contributing factor is the intense heat that is common in Phoenix during the summer months. The high temperatures can create a thermal low-pressure system, which can also contribute to thunderstorm development. Additionally, the mountain ranges surrounding Phoenix can play a role in thunderstorm formation. As moist air is forced to rise over the mountains, it can cool and condense, leading to the formation of thunderstorms. Overall, a combination of factors including the region's location, topography, and weather patterns contribute to the high occurrence of thunderstorms in Phoenix, particularly during the monsoon season.
I rode the light rail, very poor in my opinion. For a big city like Phoenix, it should take you everywhere but it doesn't. In Chicago when visiting you can go anywhere you want to travel 😊
Good vid! Too bad you only showed the decent side of the light rail. From Uptown and west its shady as heck. Tweekers, gangbangers, homeless, etc, ride these trains all night long. Bring your gun and hope for the best.
I love the light rails out there in Phoenix.
@@AtariTheAnimator to bad the republicans blocked now light rail extension with 400 funds

Great video man! Enjoy your trip! 😃
I think the Siemens S70 is now the S700. I noticed how how the Kinki Sharyo LRVs traction motors sound similar to the original S70 in Houston .
Yeah all Siemens light rail vehicles have been rebranded to s700 since 2015.
S70 is the forward facing seats in the C section. S700 are side facing seats. Makes for a more open aisle.
Welcome to Arizona!
Thank you and great state! So much to explore and I wish I had more time…but in the future.
Be prepared for THE HEAT ☀️

I really enjoyed and wished I had more time exploring the state. The heat isn’t that bad compared to Houston’s hot humid summers ;-)

What 😂
He is right, because the city provides free passes to people on subsidies, there is significant ridership that gets free rides..
