In Colorado, the main difference is cost. You can legally purchase recreational pot. If you have a prescription, you have access to a higher grade, and the tax is a lot lower than 24%
We finally legalized all use here in Ohio. It was one of the stranger experiences in my life walking into a store and perusing what differing strains would do for me. Once I found the desired one, they put it in a nice little bag and threw a couple of little bonuses in to for me. BIzarre. 🤣

As a long-term smoker of about 12 years, whenever somebody’s trying weed, for the first time, it should never be an edible when the body processes marijuana through an edible. It turned into a different chemical, which is five times more psychoactive. The THC is on its own so it’s much more intensethan if they were hit a joint once or twice for the first time so as someone who enjoys it and has had a lot of people around it who had bad experiences, and then I walked him through it and explained it to them. This usually helps. A lot of smokers do say you got a cough to get off some people say they don’t feel they get high if they’re not coughing
Recreational customers in my state can only purchase lower dosage edibles! Edibles are really the only thing that has medical dosages. Medical flower and recreational flower are the same.
I'm no expert but my take on Medical Grade is that the government has their hands in on taxing it and purity. When you buy this color, texture, flavor you can be sure it's tested and is what they say it is.

Well my daughter tells me to take two small bites of a cookie. 10 minutes later I try to stand up from my recliner and I collapse and for over 6 hours I am on the bed laughing at all the huge technicolor images floating by me. That was my first and last try at marijuana!!

Medical weed is regulated and you are aware of what strain it is, what % of THC, if it is indica hybrid or sativa. Some places will inform customers what strain relieves what health issue. etc

She didn't get to pick and choose which laws to enforce. In fact, failure to enforce a law, could have been grounds for impeachment, which the Republicans would have loved. Personally, I had wished Biden would have picked a different running mate 4 years ago, then after the election, chose her to be the US Attorney General. tRump on the other hand, if he had his way, would have all drug users, including users of pot, locked up with long prison sentences.

It's more in depth than that and laws vary by state and federally but that's the basic just of it.

I seem to remember reading a bill recently that would have commuted the sentences on those that were serving time for possession. This was in a state that had made Marijuana completely legal.

The difference between medical Mary and non medical, is fairly simple, dispensaries know which strain is what. They can tell you the name, if it's an indica, sativa, or hybrid. However, if you ask your local dealer, "Hey, is this an indica or a sativa?" They will tell you, "It's twenty dollars." Or a different price, depending on how much you're trying to buy.

Now me and by buddy both are over 6ft6in so we are sitting high we are clearly in the spot light. a person came to table to take our order we both wanted cowboy whiskey JW Dant . The person ask my buddy if he wanted to buy your boyfriend rose🌹 I'm a little slow but that was point I realized I was in a gay bar..then it hit me the sign outside wasn't giving directions it was the name of the bar. ""ENTER IN THE REAR'" OMG its funny now but not in the 80s we turned invisible and just vanished hoping none of our bandito brothers seen us it could turn out bad..😮😂😂😂
I am actually horribly allergic to weed, cbd etc.. my doctor told me to try it because of the seizures I deal with. We found out that I can't deal with it at all. We put cbd pol in capsule... then I was rushed to the ER with a collapsed lung. Just the smoke from it will take my breath away.
Watching a skit on pot, and popped a gummi. I understand! Imagine getting 3 strikes because you sold pot once in your neighborhood, and facing mandatory minimum sentences from that one arrest. Engvall is an excellent storyteller, but his work on creating characters with voices and gestures is underrated. "Leave it to Beaver" is not the funniest sitcom, but it was a huge show for a while.

Medical Marijuana has been tested on it's chemical make up, you'll be given information on the labels just like you would on the label of any other prescription medication. It's also 99% chance that it's cleaner than the stuff you find in the streets. The stats on the labels help you figure out how strong or how much lesser strength you want em and if they'll be taylored to what you need em for like if you have trouble eating, sleeping, have chronic physical pain, etc.
Glad to know I’m not the only one who doesn’t like pot. It’s not paranoia for me though. I don’t like having a 30 second attention span. Literally have to remind myself what I was doing every 30 seconds

nah I never cough anymore and get Plenty high, but yea you do get higher if you cough but definitely not required to reach a decent height..

Watching a skit on pot, and popped a gummi. I understand! Imagine getting 3 strikes because you sold pot once in your neighborhood, and facing mandatory minimum sentences from that one arrest. Engvall is an excellent storyteller, but his work on creating characters with voices and gestures is underrated. "Leave it to Beaver" is not the funniest sitcom, but it was a huge show for a while.

Medical Marijuana has been tested on it's chemical make up, you'll be given information on the labels just like you would on the label of any other prescription medication. It's also 99% chance that it's cleaner than the stuff you find in the streets. The stats on the labels help you figure out how strong or how much lesser strength you want em and if they'll be taylored to what you need em for like if you have trouble eating, sleeping, have chronic physical pain, etc.
